This is a comical under-statement; their entire game isn't working yet for iOS. [...Or am I the only one this is crashing on?]
Why do I have to play a 16:9 game full screen on my 4:3 iPad? Why does the controls screen ask me to bind keys on a keyboard? This is one of the laziest ports I have ever seen, and it's heartbreaking because the game itself seems really enjoyable.
If I buy the Collector's Edition DLC and other iAPs on my iPad will I be able to access them on the android and steam versions as well?
Probably not since the purchase would be tied to your iTunes account only and there is not yet a third party account/transfer system; although it seems silly to not have one with cross platform so maybe that will change once multiplayer is live on iOS (?).
Add me too I just bought this game two days ago and couldn't believe I've missed this for such a long time. It's great! However, I want to play it but it crashes right after the splash screen. D': edit: according to their FB page, they will submit an fix to the AppStore today. Hope it doesn't take too long.
^ This Game crashes on both my iPhone 5s and my iPad Air latest iOS. Don't update till a fix will arrive. On the other side i looking forward for the new balancing. I wasn't a big fan of the latest difficulty balance (some dungeons for example were too hard despite the stage (early or not) you were)... I had finished the game once was firstly released but when i try it again (after the new classes added) i wasn't able to enjoy it as the first time... Anyway for now is broken so lets hope for a quick fix!
Fingers crossed for a crash fix. When did this happen? Hero Siege has previously ran on my iPod until more recent updates and the App Store page indicates iPod compatibility. Edit: \/ Thanks Duke12! \/
He might refer to this post by dev it seems that iPod touch 4th gen doesnt work with the game, We use Game Maker: Studio and i have made a ticket about this on the helpdesk... lets hope they can help us. But since you have 5 dunno.
How frustrating Add me to the list of people unable to play Hero Siege on either my iPad Air or my iPhone 5s both running the newest version of updated iOS. Been a supporter of this game since release and the Devs have made a great product and have really listened to their customers. This gives me faith that they will recognize this issue and fix it quickly since they seemed, in the past, to really care about their customers and their product. Of course looking at their facebook page and seeing how excited they are about their reviews on Steam... how excited they are about planning their next game release... and the fact that they obviously sent out a patch/update without even testing to make sure it works on the newest devices without crashing... well that definitely makes me feel cruddy. When their 'old' game which I have supported and given feedback on since release will not function and the dev team is focused on versions for other platforms and other games entirely definitely hurts some of that faith they have built up. So... I wait patiently for resolution (which was mentioned was in the works and might solve the problem) and hope the Devs show they are more dedicated to ensuring their sold products work as advertised rather then dedicating their time to future sales of a as yet unreleased product.
Doesnt make it past opening screen. Just dropped 5 bucks on the expansion too. Even deleted and lost my level 92 archer. Goodbye Fudge the squeamish
