The player moves the same speed all the time, having your finger far from the thumbstick wont move him any faster. You can increase your movement speed with potions, shrines and items Happy New Year! Fixed, now im hunting for a few more bugs and gonna patch again. cheers
Thanks, Yeah I see that now, bought the game been playing a while. Only thing now is I'm stuck in an infinite loop of the 'secret level' I've beat it probably 10+ times =O can't move on @_@ /// scratch that I can move on, switching apps to write this started my game over ;-; had full relic page 500+ attack and like 7 pets I was a monster.
yeah this is a bug i've fixed, solution coming in the next patch (currently waiting for review) 1-2 days.
Enjoying the unmentioned modifications that were snuck in. Seeing some stats on skill upgrades really helps determine what to select! Possible spoiler: For the lucky relic, clover, I can't figure out what the positive impact is? All it seems to do is stop magic potions from appearing, which I view as a negative, but I'm not seeing how it's actually helping me... More gold drops or something? Right now it seems like a relic I would rather swing way clear of... Thanks for these frequent updates Panicci! EDIT: another question, I'd really like to throw more money at this and get one of the doublers (thinking XP so I can more quickly try different base builds), but do they wind up making the game too easy? I'm concerned more by the coin doubler which seems like it would allow you to overpower a character quickly...
The clover should make all potions positive effect. I need to check whats wrong with this if it doesnt work and fix it. About the boosts, I'm not sure. I don't atleast need them, those are optional stuff to people who want to get fast and powerful so whatever gaming experience you are looking for heh. I my self dont want them. You can throw money by buying the PC version etc if you want to support us ^^. But yeah. PS. I just coded a system for swapping between 2 active items. When you take a new one, the old one appears on the rock to replace it, and you can switch them around as many times as you want.
Ah, that would make sense. I've gotten it twice now and both times I didn't see any more potions dropping. Can't imagine it was bad RNG luck since I continued through at least a half dozen more waves, but it could have been...
Would really like this more if it had 360 degree shooting and movement. Gonna go play Minigore 2 now.
Not trolling...just don't see how this is better. Minigore is silky smooth and only being able to shoot in four directions in HS, seems archaic. Please explain how this > than mini gore instead of jumping on me for trolling, jackass.
Wanna know how you're trolling? Cause u had to put "ima go play minigore now" guess what if we cared, we would go to the dead mini gore thread. But we are here. Good for your voicing your negative opinions that don't do anything. It's not all about graphics, but ok. You have your own opinions. Just like I do. Now stop trolling, and go play repetitive minigore. Troll.
A game like this is about skill and the controls are lacking...not graphics. Never said anything about graphics. Who's the troll now (hint, it's you)? Not gonna waste any more time arguing with you. Maybe you can start a fight with your mom about picking up your room or something. Happy new year!
I think you are using the incorrect terminology here SDG. The controls are smooth as silk and extremely responsive since the update which removed the dead zone. I can now play on my iPad air on the big screen without issue and the finicky nature of the controls on the iPhone are a thing of the past. What it sounds like is that you do not enjoy the game mechanic of four-direction shooting and so you have lobbed some insults at it, 'archaic' comes to mind, because you are disappointed that it does not employ 360 degree controls and because you are ignorant of the many recent hit games with this control scheme that have been massive successes. One such game being 'The Binding of Isaac' which the developers clearly mentioned this game takes inspiration from. Using a 4 directional shooting stick does not detract from the skill required to play the game and, if anything, makes it more difficult as the player must give movement much more consideration and attention rather then just fleeing and shooing at any angle one wants. Again, if that isn't enjoyable to your personal tastes then I can understand your disappointment but it is not a bad or archaic choice. In the end if you don't like it that's completely fair but insulting something you dislike simply because you dislike it is far more childish then giving constructive feedback. Making comments such as you're going to play Minigore is just snotty and makes you sound like a troll whether or not that is your intention. There are many ways to state your opinion and you definitely chose one that has an offensive and immature tone to it. Which is, of course, your right to do so. On the other side of the coin the fellow who insulted you and called you a troll and made multiple posts flaming you, well that is a pretty childish reaction to.
Wow! Some really uptight people on here. Just glad I can terminate this conversation now and don't have to deal with you in real life. Relax bruh!
Can you leave already? Obviously you have to pay to get a clue. You can tell this guy has to have the last word in real life also. Glad you can terminate a convo whenever want.
just to add: We could easily add a 360 degree shooting in this game if we wanted, the 4 direction shooting is decided design-wise. would take me 2 minutes to make the projectiles fly in 360 directions But yeah, minigore is an awesome game by an awesome developer so definitely go play that ^^
Why not give the user the choice between the two control schemes? That would make the game more appealing to people that prefer 360 degree shooting and may even create more sales. On a side note, I never said the game was bad, just that the 4 way shooting seemed archaic to me. That's not a bad thing, I just feel it could be even better with 360 degree shooting.
I bought this right away when It launched, was disappointed to not be able to play due to the naming bug. Since then a few updates have happened, and this game has shaped up to be one of my favorite games (in fact the only game I have played on iOS in the last month) I am really enjoying this title a lot, and am very happy that the developer has been so forthcoming with information and updates to make this game even better. Thanks so much for making a good game, then having the decency to hang around and make it even better. We need more devs like u, making quality games for iOS. 5 stars from me
