Hero of Sparta looks really good but is it really that good? Does it get repetitive?

Yes it's worth it. The game has different weapons, and there is more than enough variety in the levels. So I would say it's totally worth it.

One of the best game experiences I've ever had on a mobile device!
IT is sooooo intense. Was sucked into it until the end....and after finishing
it I started from the beginnig with my upgraded weapons! For me clearly
one of the 3 best games on the iPhone and one of the best mobile games!

I would rather purchase God of War instead for PSP.

If you don't own one I guess Hero of Sparta is good. Play it while charging your iPod. I think this game drain a lot of battery power.

To put things in perspective, The Force Unleashed has 9 levels, 8 are replayable. It has the same kind of upgrade system, albeit with more kind of upgrades. There are no character classes, same as Sparta. In every sense, except that of then premise and plot, it's really a scaled down version of TFU. But to put it really simply, it's worth it.

A no vote from me. :) The fighting is ok but too... repetitive and lacking feedback.

The graphics and gameplay is nice, but it does get a bit repetitive after a while. Even though there are various combo hits you can use, and different weapons - you basically just have to kill everything all the time.

But it sure looks nice :D

By itself without considering the PSP price?

I wouldn't say so, as I picked up God of War: Chains of Olympus for $14.95 (new) just last month on Amazon. Even was able to pick up God of War ($6.95 - new) and God of War 2 ($9.95 - new) for the PS2 at Amazon just the same.

Regardless, Hero of Sparta is well worth it's pricetag.

Yes, I've had a blast playing the game over and over. Even after you've beaten it, it's still fun to pick up and smack around some enemies here and there.

In my opinion, it's the second best game after rolando.
    It's a bit short though :(

wait a bit, maybe the price will drop.
for sure it's nicely done, probably every aspect of this game is solid, good.

but only good. not Very Good, not Excellent or Amazing. just good.

on another thread on here it's been mentioned that you shouldn't do this as it knackers your battery

anyway sorry for the off topic- I would say yes HoS is worth it and you should get it

Am I the only one that didn't like it? All you do in the game is slide a cursor, and instead of button mashing, you're screen mashing. It just isn't fun to me.
