Hero of Sparta II (new Gameplay video & Trailer)

It has been fixed and is waiting approval from apple.

And Hook Champ is far more epic.

 

I'm glad to hear the fix is in. Hopefully it gets approved soon and the game gets rereleased quickly.

As to hook champ -- it's a matter if opinion, but in my world hook champ is nowhere near as epic or even close to the same level of game design as PoP. PoP is a much better, more immersive game. I stick with my previous assessment -- PoP vastly raises the bar for iPhone gaming

 

Pop is my favourite game. Sqh will be much more epicer though

 

Yeah it is pretty good, but it's a port after-all. Still though it is pretty damn impressive.

LOL 3GS graphics???

The guy doesn't even have a shadow! And the water isn't reflective. Shitty 3GS optimized graphics. I don't see anything good looking in the video.

Gameloft games are getting worse and worse, indie games are getting better and better.

 

anyone knows if gameloft annouced a release date for hos2?
i mean it was supose to come out at the end of last month or early june, now we are towards july, and since gameloft announced some new games on e3 (spider man and so on) i thought we would have a release date for this title...

 

This has taken forever and ever to come out and now it doesn't even look that good. Unless the impressions are amazing, I'll give this a miss. It's a shame really as I was quite looking forward to this.

If you count Prince of Persia as a Gameloft game, then no. PoP is the best game GL has released, and it's the best game in the AppStore based on the 150 or so games I've bought.

@NMB05, it's a port and they didn't do a good job at that. I've tried it on my friend's iPhone and there are way too much loading times that it made me dizzy.

 

Personally I think it's easily the best looking game I've got on my iPod ATM. Those long loading times aren't really suprising though, it is a pretty big game. I wonder if this is ever going to come out, when it does I doubt anyone will buy it. Whatever hype there was is more than likely dead and it doesn't look that good anyway.

 

doesn't... look... good???? Lordy, you have such high standard there man! PoP sucks because it's a ported game which means that it's not an original iPhone game. The Hero of Sparta series, on the other hand, is original. And it does look good mate!

 

i agree; obscure, what makes PoP so much better then HoS 2 , when you havnt actually played it? it could be good or bad, but from the looks, the graphics are sweet
