I am guessing after that countdown gameloft will just announce the release date of this game... hope I'm wrong though.. 17 more minutes

At least we have a firm date of when it will be out July 29th is that far away. Did anyone else notice that the chains of olympus have made their debut in this game. talk about a real ripoff from GOW now. Still looking forward to the game even if it's a GOW clone as it's the only thing we will ever get to as close as GOW game on the idevices.
I knew it gameloft doesn't release 2 top dollar games in the same week , but that was lame though a conutdown just to give a damn release date that was weak ,(oh shit gameloft I got a countdown 2more hours till I gotta pee
Cool HOS 2 releases on my b day Cool HOS 2 releases on my b day! I did really like the first Hero of Sparta. It was the first game I finished on my iPhone. I'm not a hardcore gamer and I did like other games better after this one. I'm looking forward to the game.
Horrible? No. Way too bright and artificial looking? Yes. Frankly, I would be very happy if they get the feel of the combat right, so that a sword hit sounds and feels like a sword hit.
Well, that's disappointing. I was ready to hit the buy button instantly this morning when the timer ran out. However, July 29th is two days after Starcraft 2 Launches. I think that is really poor timing on their part. I'm sure I'm not the only user on this forum o iphone gamer who will be devoting most/all of his/her gaming time to SC2 for the next few weeks. To me, post july 27 would be a dead zone to release games on any platform because of the hype for SC2. I could be wrong. Maybe there are enough iphone/ipod gamers out there to make major releases on other platforms a non factor. I will say this though. For me, this was a must and instant buy this morning because I am dying to play it. On July 29th, it is no longer a must buy because my attention will be elsewhere. Anybody else share my views or am I in the minority?
