Can anyone give me any tips on killing the Goblin King on the second continent? every turn he creates 2 bombs, I already upgraded all my characters emblems to the max i can buy at this point in the game, and its just impossible
If you have the "Upgrade" skill for Trista, this can greatly help you with getting skill tiles. Try to save them up prior to the boss if you can.
You should be able to get rid of the bombs by making tile matches adjacent to it. It took me a while to realize this. Later on you will run into bosses who put little "volcanoes" on your board that will explode and spread fire everywhere, and those can be removed the same way.
You need to have Alston's shield that deflects Debuffs. If you can manage to keep one up for the whole battle, it'll be a cinch. Save up those S. skill tiles.
I love the questionable quality of the English translation, "immature puberty boy", lol! It's great, it really adds to the charm of the game I think. And all the text is perfectly understandable. Your guide is very helpful btw, thanks for writing it.
Often it does take some luck. I'm a bit lazy myself but if you see a set that looks like: XX O XX, I usually try and only match items above it to try and increase my chances of making the 5th match. And sometimes they're hard to spot as well.
Anyone remember where Trista's first Purification S. skill is found? Want to make sure I didn't miss it this time around.

Just got to the town with third tier emblems (4,000 cost). Can only afford one for now. Which character do you usually get a new emblem for first? I usually go for shield upgrade then health. Then Mage and then sword
Don't buy Elsa's bc you can get it from a chest. I also go with Alston first. Makes the most difference in battle.
Thanks for the tip on where Heist was located... I got it yesterday and have been stealing things ever since -- no more buying potions! I have yet to steal from a boss though.
Hey AppUnwrapper-- I can confirm that poison does work on the blue dragon at the end of the sun gate. Looks like vampire, ice and poison are its weaknesses.
