I have the 4th emblem for my party and everyone's around lvl 19/20. I cannot seem to get past the Guardian Beast in the Ancient Labyrinth -- I must be missing something, as the rest of that labyrinth is a breeze. This is at the end of the 2nd island. Any advice? EDIT: Never mind -- it took some serious DPS and setting up the board with a lot of S-tiles for me to get him down. Took about 6 attempts for me, and sadly, ignoring the blue chest so I could save the S-tiles for the fight. Tough -- I'm gonna be pretty much toast in the later levels haha.
Blocked at boss of ancient labyrinth Hi all, I have a level 20 team with tier 4 emblems. Currently i cannot beat the boss of the ancient labyrinth on the second island. I can beat the mobs easily but the boss is immune to normal attacks and i cant generate enough special attacks to kill him. Any advice? should i grind more and level my team a bit? Is there a strategy i should try?
I can't remember each one exactly but two have to be stolen from the bosses before you go to the tower so if you killed them then you won't be able to get them. I believe the rest are chest drops! The member below wrote down where he remembers them so it's pretty helpful. Thanks so much! I knew I was forgetting something. It looks like I kept going on the wrong path on the Relic area. You're a great help.
Are you me? I was just stuck here as well. My team was 19/19/19/20 in level. It took 6 attempts but what seemed to work the best was to stack/hoard all my S-tiles (the ones you get for matching 5) and special skill tiles, and then just hammering at him and using the expensive debuff cross to get rid of the ice cubes he tosses. It was a pain, and I had to ignore the blue chest so I could keep stacking the board for doing maximum DPS. Good luck, hope this helps. I'm dreading the difficulty moving forward, haha!
Did I miss anything in this tower of diety I don't want to go thru it again!!! I have tried like a dozen times!!!!
I always say always ignore chests on dungeons. Unless there's only one weak enemy left, don't risk it. You can always come back after you beat the dungeon to get it (except there won't be a boss at the end) which makes it much easier. I know they're tempting but it's best to focus on your health and defense. And yeah difficulty has its ups and downs but the best advice is to not rush the game. If you play at a slower pace and fight extra battles by going around the map and revisiting dungeons to get extra items, you should be fine.
Quite a few later stages have bosses that only take damage from special attacks. That might be one of them.. You'll need to match 4 and above.
I would say it's half of both, even leaning more on skill. The combination of skills you can use and matches you can set up is very manageable. Also, because the enemies don't use the board to attack you other than through debuffs it's much easier to get a handle on what you can do without relying entirely on luck. I would say the most luck oriented parts of the game are the chests and gnomes.
You have to activate it once when you're alive though, a symbol with a number will shown next to your hp indicating you can revive once.
I made it through the Cave of Illusion on my second game. Anyone know if I missed any skill or emblem loot to this point? http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/01/12/hero-emblems-skill-locations/ http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/01/27/hero-emblems-emblem-locations-guide/
Finally managed to beat him as well with 3 S-Tiles Also managed to get the tier 5 emblem for Elsa in the chest
