How the hell do I beat this guy. He is resist to everything and just covers up my board. The only way I damaged him was from my counterattack of the archangel and a stun move on my shield guy. He just floods my board
Make sure to upgrade some of your emblems from the first town at this point if you haven't yet. It also never hurts to have some potions handy as well - good luck
I had the same issue. Buying new emblems should be priority 1, especially on the first island. It can take a while to save up the 300 coins, especially if you bought skills instead, but every emblem you buy will drastically improve your characters. If I remember right, I beat that boss after upgrading my paladin. General consensus around here seems to be to upgrade the paladin first, then healer. Also, don't be afraid to use some items during a tough battle. If you lose, you get your items back.
Thanks for this - very useful! I'm currently at Poseidon's/Cave of Conch and I'm trying to find Alston's debuff shield, does anyone know where to find it? I had it on an earlier playthrough that I accidentally deleted by clicking delete on the load screen after 12 hours of play and I haven't found it again for this run. I remember it being on an earlier island but for the life of me I can't remember where...and I've literally run through every replayable dungeon up to the point I've reached Also on the Tier 6(?) emblems (the ones from Poseidon's Relic/Cave of Conch), I haven't received a Tier 6 from Poseidon's yet and I've run through it with Heist a couple of times. There's a Gnome on the last encounter on the A path...do I need to whack him to get it out of him? I read something about red chests but I've never seen one before. I also read that the tier 7's are just around the corner so perhaps I'll wait for those - does anyone know how much they cost? Currently running around with Tier 5's.
You need a Silver Cross with blessed with Pope level Holy Water at that point, serious debuff is the only way out. Good Luck!

Not sure if this has been brought up, but the game has music playing even if the phone is on silent...
There is no tier 6 shop, you have to get them from blue chests and boss steals in the conch cave and tower of deity. I definitely would have done that if I didn't have my Puzzle Quest HD backup. I'm 12 hours into PQ again already.
What the FRACK!!! High Ground of Wind, friggin die after 2 rounds when meeting the first group! My characters are at level 31 and one hit from them Bulls takes all but 962 HP left! How's that for balancing the game!!! I am really disgusted on the imbalance of the game, not only that friggin poison overwhelmes you! I have most of the skills and super skills!
I'm having trouble here too. All lvl 8 emblems. And I think I've followed the storyline. But I can't get past even the first battle at High Ground of Winds.
For both of you having trouble with high grounds, what skills, s skills, and items are you equipping? You may not be using an ideal combination for that particular situation.
