Yes that has been mentioned several times earlier in the thread. I still think it's a mistake to even allow buying items you already own though, when there is no possible situation where it makes sense. First of all it's not very obvious, so I'm sure a lot of users won't even notice the character animation or what it means. And in any case it's just an annoyance to have to tap on each item and watch the character animation to see if I already own it. It's a minor problem once you know what to look for, but it would definitely be good to fix it. The biggest problem I have, since there is no workaround, is that it doesn't save your progress in the middle of a dungeon if you exit the app. This doesn't matter much for random encounters, which are generally very short. However dungeons can be pretty long, and given that this is a mobile game, it's common to need to interrupt a dungeon run to take a phone call, or because your bus ride or lunch break is over, or whatever. It would be nice not to have to complete dungeons in one sitting.
I agree that having the item greyed out wiykd be easier since if I didn't frequent this forum I would not have known to look for the characters either being still or cheering! In fact I used the iPhone screen shot to review what I owned vs not until I read the solution here. I also agree that saving in the middle if the dungeon would be helpful as "life" happens when playing games and sometimes we need to leave or close an app.
Totally embarrassed but how do I get out of relic island? I keep going in circles and don't seem to hit the boss...?????
Great advice, I'm at the Sun Room and the Blue Dragon is resistant to everything! Nothing I've done has hurt him...
I know this has been asked/answered more than a few times, but I can't seem to find it in the thread. Where are the two emblems found that require Howard's Heist skill? I've just finished Relic of the Gods and am heading out to sea. Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
I finally got passed it with the Going A followed by B. I read that it might have a glitch for some of us.
i haven't played too much sadly, but i have a question regarding farming gold for emblems: i'm farming for the set of second emblems (2000 each). when i do the last dungeon again, i'd have to play this dungeon about 20-30 times to get 2000 gold. is there a faster way with less grinding? (can't kill the next boss) thanks!
Not sure if this is related to this game, but twice so far while playing this game I have had a popup message stating that no sim card is installed. Has anyone else run into this? Running with iPhone 6+ with latest iOS version.
I thought this also. There should NOT be a large 'X" to delete right on your character line. Also should be a delay or make you confim before deleting. Also a way to copy one save gave over to an empty slot would be nice as a back up.
I hate that after nearly 40 hours of play time, I'm on the verge of giving up. I just can't seem to beat the boss after the 3 gates. EDIT: ugh, nevermind. I got it right away, just tired.
So I just got to the third continent, and got sent out to the pirate hideout to kill them. Killed them, but now there's no exclamation mark indicating where to go next. The only indicator is a squiggly (!) which is one of the optional stages, but I've tried it and it's waaaay above my power level right now. So where do I go once I've killed the pirates in their hideout? Thanks!
Is the quest that's above your level the one in the ocean with the giant squid boss? I did that one after the pirate hideout, and then I noticed more quest markers back on the continent where I'd been sent on the pirate quest. I'm not sure if they were there before I defeated the squid though. I too thought the squid boss was above my level, and it took me several retries, until I realized Spoiler he's weak to lightning, so I needed to equip any lightning skills I had . After I did that I went back in and beat him. Also, I did go to the shop on the island and buy some of the platinum crosses, though I think I only ended up using one of them.
Well, they're pretty different games, so I'd say it's not pointless. They're both matching puzzle RPGs, but they work differently enough and have a different enough vibe and story, that if you like these type of puzzle/RPGs there's definitely no reason not to get them both. Personally, Hero Emblems has hooked me more than SGQ did, but I can't point to any flaws in SGQ to explain it, I think it's just that I like the sliding type of match puzzle better than the type that SGQ has.
Jeez...the Death Forest level was some serious BS. So I give Trista the "upgrade" skill because they are throwing red slimes at me, and I found that's the best way to get skill tiles to take care of them. The red slimes are STILL a huge pain though, and then I get to the boss after several failed attempts, and he drops a million poison tiles each turn and is immune to skill tiles (exact opposite of red slimes), so I'm getting a lot of zero damage attacks. Barely managed to squeak by using two crosses and getting extremely lucky on my final turn (as soon as my turn ended, poison would have killed me if I didn't kill the bee). I should be relieved but I feel like I'm going to hit a serious frustration wall if there are many more levels like that. I felt like the difficulty curve had evened out to a perfect level prior to this, but this level just made me angry.
