Any tips for Cave of Conch? Stuck for a while. The pink Octopus's poison spider separate too quick, if I missed one I'm in deep trouble. Bring 2 crosses still used up and failed, any tips? Thanks
The debuff shield skill is way better. Reflecting damage is nice and all but completely negating debuff spam with a timely shield is much more useful.
Thanks. That makes me feel a little better. Just got bested by the Moon Gate boss and won't really have the time to try it again till tonight.
My only complaint is that I would like to be able to play my own music. The game music is great, but after an hour or so....
thanks, already using "Purify Skill" (but it require 4 hearts to form tho), I'm on 5th Emblems for all characters, is that right at this stage OR i suppose to be in 6th? what's the level you beat this area? thanks

I don't remember getting any reward. It might just be a story difference, but could be wrong (since I'm so good at missing things ).
I got Angelic Shield from the cemetery blue chest, and Spoiler a mission to save the king and princess. did you have a different immediate outcome?
The Tower of Deity is ruining me, even with the two emblems from the conch and bell dungeons (paladin and healer). I never got Heist, so it seems like my two main DPS characters are stuck with the emblems they have until I clear the Tower. Problem is, I can't seem to get to the boss consistently-- and even when I do, his mass petrification locks the board up big time. Do the gladiator types and floating eyes have weaknesses I should be gunning for to make stuff easier? I haven't been able to critically damage any of them yet. Thanks!
About difficulty and such...i was a few times at a frustrating point of no further progress and the decision of quitting the game or grinding to get stronger and more experienced (as a rpg gamer, what to equip when etc.) Meanwhile, i'm on the 3rd continent, beat the 3 fairy and after some more grinding and leveling up, i went back to Relic of Gods again and forgot to change and refill my best potions/crosses/skills. So i was still armed with Howard's Heist (s.skill) and very low potions from grinding and finding free stuff in this world. I realized that by doing almost no damage and thought, well, lets give it a try since i'm here anyway. And it worked out by doing the 5-lines skill, recover HP/DP and/or plan ahead for the next big combos before the enemies counter is at 1 (=strike at the last moment, mostly), watch out for the spikes timer and activate the skill-shield at the right time to take no additional damage and...have some luck, no doubt! Spoiler Btw, i found the Book of Genesis at this tower and Amy took it with her to study. It's not shown in your menu-bag I know and feel everybody when you got frustrated by losing all earnings/skills/exp because of one hit at the last moment. Damn, just waisted my time for nothing. I think the same and yet i'm playing on because i love this very challenging game too much. Yes they do have a weakness and you can do it with your setup, it took me ages the first time around to however my 2nd time around I did him my first try! Just was more prepared. What you'll need to do is try your hardest to get the eyes to the bottom of the screen. You can still match petrified tiles to help. once at the bottom they disappear and the tiles are back in play. Also use Trista's ability that heals over time, you can buy it from the 3rd island. It sucks leading up to the boss to not have any debuff removers however at the boss the heal is more important. Also buy as many of those debuff crosses and save them for the boss. I think they're 1200 each. Also pay attention to how many moves before he attacks so it's sometimes better to focus survival over getting a little dmg. Not having those tier 6 emblems won't matter. Just need to play smart and get a little lucky! Thus far it was my hardest boss but oh so worth the victory.
So am I safe buying the 2000 gold emblems or do they drop somewhere? Got all blue chests I've been past so far but stuck on the castle on the first island so I'm trying the mystery tower for its blue chest.
The eyeballs also seem to disappear if you kill the monster that spawned it. I'm not sure if those are different ones or the same, but I added it to my guide.
