The gnomes drop supers when you hit them thrice... guess I'm going to smack around some continent 1 gnomes now -_-
Really basic questions that I'm sure have already been covered somewhere in this huge thread: People have mentioned prioritizing emblem upgrades over skills. Do emblems stack? I've bought the Paladin's Emblem of Steel in the first village and used it and it's great. But when I go back to the store, it lists the same emblem as available for purchase. Can you only carry one emblem at a time? Somewhat related, why is my Paladin able to carry 2 skills into battle (by default) but the Healer can only have 1 equipped? Unrelated, what am I supposed to do with the Princess Crown? Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
It's kind of silly that the store will sell you emblems & skills you already have. But you can only equip one emblem at a time. You want to equip the best one. The rest are sort of like trophies -- "Hey, I collected them all!" The Shield both defends and attacks (Attack only kicks in when defense is full). So he has two skills. All the other emblems have one skill.
I'm sure this is covered somewhere in the posts, but the game isn't saving my progress when I go to home screen. I have had to restart 3 times.
This is by far my biggest game mechanic complaint as well. So frustrating to have cells blocked out and no cross/purify on hand. However, I'm still on the first continent and it sounds like even more devious tile effects are introduced later. Second biggest complaint is it would be really nice to at least keep SOME exp and gold if I die on a level.
Nope, I just went back to three continent 1 dungeons and the gnomes would only drop coins no matter how many times I hit them. I guess I just got lucky with those consecutive super drops! But it's still good to know that gnomes can drop big items. Also, speaking of the store selling you emblems and skills you already have, the character will jump/animate if it's an item you don't already have. If you have it the character will not react. And I sort of agree about the chain/ice debuffs being annoying because they eat emblems. I use the purify skill to deal with those. Otherwise they can ruin runs.
Any chance you remember which gnomes gave you skills? Would like to double check and see if I got them. Which skills were they, anyway? Would also love to know if anyone findsa way to get stuff out of this gnome without dying:
The super skills I got were Frozen Beam and Arctic Land, from the topmost dungeon on the second continent and one of the mid dungeons.
Thanks! I don't have Arctic Land, so off to hunt! Edit: Can't find any gnomes on the second continent. Any chance you can narrow it down a bit? Edit: Got it! Ancient Labyrinth
Does Great Sacred Shield work right for you? It'so not giving me the self heal. The shield icon with 0 comes up for a second and then disappears.
Pause the game. Then use the icon on the far left to exit out and this saves the game for you (at least what I've been doing)
If this has been asked/answered already I apologize..... Once I have upgraded each of the characters emblems. What should be the next thing I spend loot on spells?
I'm current on Sanctus Village (3rd continent), the store is selling Emblems for 8k and skill for 2k, it is quite a hight price. I failed on Private Nest quest and planning did levelling a bit. but both on the sea and the land are still quite tough and not drop too many cash to me. anyone already up to this continent and have a better place to framing good cash and exp? thanks
This didn't work for me.## What the freaking heck. I had to restart the whole freaking thing! That tutorial is a pain to go through again. I am going to have to wait for an update to start over again. I really do like it so far but if game saves are iffy then that really breaks the game for me. 3 stars until that gets fixed. Then it will get the 5 star rating it deserves.
I use Trista's skill PURIFY to remove those. Works great. "Restores hp with 100% recovery rate and removes 4 basic de buffs. skill buff takes it up to removal of atleast 6 basic de buffs"
I'm trying to put together a list of skill locations. Since I'm so deep into the game already, I'm mostly going by the videos I made. But there are a lot of gaps. If anyone remembers exactly where they looted certain skills, please let me know!
