If you missed any of the treasures, I suggest replaying those dungeons to get them again. I wish I realized that early on. I think I may have missed a few things. (Would be cool if there was a star next to a dungeon if you got the treasure.) In general, you get the most out of the last dungeon you completed.
So sad reading all of this yet I can't purchase, says contact itunes for the 3rd time in a month and won't let me buy anything. The only option was to email and wait 48 hours : ( Getting tired of Apple now, loved them for years never had a problem purchasing and lately whenever I want to buy something I have to contact them??
Sounds like you're ahead of me. Do you know how to get rid of the little horned heart? It sticks around through the entire dungeon, healing all the enemies. Edit: I figured it out (but it still killed me). For the stone eyes and the healing demon hearts, you need to get them to drop to the bottom, like with the keys. I just had two hearts and two stone eyes and I just couldn't get rid of all of them fast enough. But now I know! In light of that, I decided to start a Debuffs guide: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/01/11/hero-emblems-debuffs-guide/ Feel free to fill in some holes or correct any mistakes (I'm only human!).
I am sorry that there is a typo in Sacred Field description. It should have 200% protecting power, which is better then Angleic Guardiance.
Just defeated the Minotaur type boss in the ancient fortress....after half a dozen attempts. One of the most satisfying gaming moments I've had in a long time! Four hours of play and it feels like I've just scratched the surface of this game...
So I've seen a few bits but anyone have tips for me for when I do get to start this game up? I seen people say grind for 4 emblems at the start? And to redo bosses because you get loot chests off them?
There's a specific fairy-like monster that drops them, and I cringe every time I see them. I'm annoyed I lost that last battle, because I defeated the mini boss. Now I have to do it all over again. C'est la vie!
I love this game so much ######. Feels like it's fair on the matching too and sets you up with nice choices to combo blocks unlike games where AI moves the board too and seems to get favored.
Finally beat the 3rd mini mega boss to get the last crystal! Your tip helped me get passed all the petrified tiles. Here's a tip for you; If you can manage it try to use steal (swords man S ability) on the mini bosses as they drop abilities and even emblems! I've scored some higher Teir emblems because of it!
I don't have Steal. Do you remember where you got it? And are you sure those mini bosses wouldn't drop them anyway after you kill them?
I'm not 100 % sure if they'll drop it or not however I did get the item mid battle not after the fight. I also got the steal ability called 'Heist' from a blue chest on the 2nd island. I've come to a point where I think each island has set blue chests on quest stages that always drop specific abilities that can be gotten as long as you open the chest and beat the level (before or after mini boss). One path generally has a blue chest and the other a money giving gnome. If I see the gnome I know it's probably the other path that leads to the chest (not sure if this is always the case though) That being said you can redo levels to get that chest.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure all the skill/emblem drops are set. I've gone back and gotten ones I've missed, but I think sometimes there's more than one drop in a dungeon and if I don't realize that, I could miss out on the second one altogether. And I'm guessing I did that, bc I'm missing some emblems and skills. I have a feeling I missed a better Purify skill for Trista, and I would love to find it if that's the case. The basic one is pretty weak, but it's better than nothing. Btw, if this game gets an endless mode, I think I'm *really* gonna need an intervention. I like Super Glyph Quest's arena, but I realized the reason I don't play that more is because of how slow it feels. The spell animations take so long and it kills the pace of the game. Hero Emblems got that part right.
Anyone know how to beat the Giant Squid boss in Capoa Sea ? I try every elemental attack from fire, lighting, poison, ice and none of them work. He block all my normal attack while resist all of my special attack. Ahhh so frustrating
I remember he was annoying. But I think he was only immune to fire and ice spells? I thought lightning and drain worked? Sadly, I didn't take video of that battle, so going on memory.
I would love a chest indicator on the dungeons that lets you know there is something good there you haven't found yet.
