That's exactly how classic FF games work -- you die in a dungeon, you have to start over. This ain't a casual game .
Love the Concept Great idea so many different moving parts with the match 3 and JRPG roots, glad to see the straight up $2.99 price and that is not coming from a huge publisher. Congrats, I hope it is a huge hit for you, count me among your happy customers
This is one of the best releases in awhile. I'm digging the fact that just matching as fast as you can doesn't work as you need skills to survive, and no amount of grinding is going to change that. The art style also reminds me a bit of Paper Mario, and it looks gorgeous on an iPad. I hope the developer uses some of the money from initial purchases to implement iCloud sharing. I'm playing the game on iPad because it looks great, but being able to share saves to my iPhone on the go would be good as well... I don't mind the cheesiness of the dialogue, but it does need a more accurate translation. There are a few small grammatical errors.

Just a minor PSA for Puzzle Quest fans, if you were lucky enough to have saved a backup of your Puzzle Quest HD ipa it is still miraculously compatible with iOS 8.
*** Somehow lost my save game (bug?) *** Been playing the game for a couple of days without problem, but when I launched it today the text defaulted to Chinese. My save game was still available in the 1st slot, but when I set the language back English it wiped the save
Can you one day make it landscape especially for ipad.? I have a sore neck and shoulders and back from playing this. I just had to take a couple of panadol now. Been playing hours. Not many games can get me this absorbed. Or/and you could make a PC version of this. I don't mind paying more for games like this that are not manipulated by iap. This is easliy worth $5 without iap. I would never play this if it had iap as I deleted all those candy crush games long ago etc because theyre pay to win. But top game. Great to play on a lazy Sunday. Keep up the great work.
That happened to me when I accidentally touched the Chinese button at the start. There's an English button too so you can change it back.
Gawd, just bought 2 hours ago and couldn't stop playing. Was hesitant at first about the grind from one of the App Store reviews, then it got better because I got sick of dying at the Southern graveyard. I love the grind, got all four emblems at Loto! Got to take a break now,getting tired I really appreciate the lack of IAP
Not really the issue I didn't accidentally set the language because I hadn't been to the options page until it defaulted to Chinese when I launched it today. The issue IS that it wiped my save game when I set it back to English.
