Great game, no doubt. It really stands out between all the other match-3 games on the appstore. Top notch paper mario like visuals and lovely music paired with skill based character customization and interesting puzzle mechanics. I really hope they are doing well with the sales cuz this must be supported like hell. Oh, here have my 5 stars. Well deserved.
Anybody have a rundown on the mechanics? I'm not quite clear on how the special tiles work. Do bigger matches with the special tiles have a larger effect? Is there a point to most of the map points where there isn't an event? Is there any point to moving one spot at a time?
Pfff , what's up with Appstore .. Another game i can not download, " item is currently being modified" . I guess it has something to do with the price changes in the European app stores... This game has a very strange price in the Dutch AppStore 3,44 euro ... I read somewhere that because of all different prices in THE EU apple screwed up with the pricing schemes and are trying to correct it now
Sorry to hear that guys. Trust me it's worth the wait! It's a damn good game that needs to be given $$$ so they can make more. If they lose money and go f2p later I will cry rivers. Once you get it please post impressions so more people can see the opinions. It's hard to type it all out but yes i believe the specials all stack of you use them all at the same time. I think if you match a long line with one special tile it will activate that special tile then convert the amount of tiles you used into another special tile. Moving one spot at a time is pretty much the same as skipping ahead. You still will get a percentage of random encounters whether you do it or not.
Yes it seems to be that the European Apple iTunes stores are currently updating this - someone please post when it becomes available yeah? I will be checking throughout today for the UK store until I can get it...
Did anyone else notice that switching emblems also changes the physical looks of your character's equips? Subtle changes and interactions like these are the things that push this already fantastic game into the top of the charts for me. Very, very polished game all throughout. Just reached the second continent. I am addicted to this game.
Game Impressions Here's my gameplay video (where I get owned at the end ): Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel The little white circles you'll notice are my taps and it's visible due to a jailbreak tweak, TouchPosé. Some levels are absolutely brutal if you are totally unprepared for the elemental play. Plus this one map is a sort of puzzle and I spent a good half hour or so trying to keep my health up on par with my damage because mobs were resistant to my element. Overall, it is an easy recommend if you are into match 3 games. I love the role playing elements and the strategy derived from combining more than 3 elements to use skills. It's also a blast to watch your party dish out some pain and heals as emblems get matched in combos. Highly recommended! No Game Center, for those that are curious.
I'm really impressed. The game play's addictive and the gear is enough to keepe grinding. Thanks to the forum for putting up videos and thoughts. I wrote this one off initially, but I'm glad I dove in after what I saw. Trista is adorably hilarious. ooh a crown - loot!
