I'd love if you can manage the tournament, and I'd be happy to hook you up with some swag for doing so. I would jump into the tournament myself, but I currently have 65 games going, so I can't create game with folks, and if they create them with me, there's a chance that it'll be a LONG wait to finish.
Not compalining but you might want to reconsider rule 7 because the first person to play is the one who sets the game up, its not random, and first is an advantage. I suppose you could consider this reward for keeping a close eye on this thread and promptness.
Maybe I was just hoping it was random I'll modify it. I think I can set it up so that it isnt really any more work for me. Do you think we should move from 6 person groups to either 5 or 7, so that there will be an even number of games and you can go first in half? 6 simultaneous games might be too much for some, I'm leaning to 4 games (i.e. 5 person groups). I'll make that change subject to further discussion. Thanks!
I guess I'll give it a try, if there's room. My biggest concern is the initial burst of enthusiasm fades, and then you have dropouts, especially if we're soliciting "people from all over", as opposed to, say, "TouchArcade members with 100+ posts."
Username is your TA name? Yes, we'll have drop outs and never-starts during the first round. Since its a round robin tournament, each subgroup of 5 players can absorb 1 or even 2drop outs without sacrificing anything.
