Just noticed that there was an update available for Hero Academy - looks pretty mundane but I'm hesitant to update because I'm right in the middle of two tournament games. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone already updated? Just wanted to throw this out there.

Also, this tournament was a great idea. I've already had some great matches!

I've updated, and it hasn't caused any problems so far - all my games are still there, and I've been able to take turns as usual.

Paradise is student, and has been kind of busy. He is making some moves in our game, but indicated he wont be super active for a bit. I'll send him a reminder in our game.

    Update - Great News

Thus far, 26 of 40 individuals have posted and reported that they have sent their challenges and accepted any that came their way. Of the remaining 14 individuals, 10 have started at least some of their games judging from other posts. Thus, there appear to be only 4 total no shows. This is very, very good - I feared this number would be higher.

However, it appears that some people may have accepted challenges without reading that they have to initiate other games. If you have not been challenged, but should have been, please initiate a game but end your turn without making any moves. Explain the situation in a "comment". By not making any moves, you will get the game going but allow them to go first. This wont help with the non-responsive folks, but it will help folks that are playing their games but never read that they are supposed to initiate challenges.

So all is proceeding very well. There do not appear to be any groups with enough defaults to be problematic.

You cannot just skip a turn, so just put one of your units back into the door and skip the rest of the action points.

Just for those trying to figure out how to end a turn without doing anything.

Tried challenging the one competitor I have not heard from and skipping my turn but without some type of action it does not want to let me end the turn. Please advise as to what action I should take.

That sounds like a reasonable solution, dont think that would be enough to meaningfully eat into the first turn advantage, to the extent there is much of one to begin with. Anything to get all the games going.
