STORY Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas in 1492. In 10 weeks. With 100 men. With 3 ships. This is a LIE! Firstly, someone had to defeat kraken and tritons. Someone had to vanquish the Leviathan. Someone had to banish all the ghost ships. The information about these deeds is missing from the archives, and you can’t find it in any great statesmen’s memoir. The knowledge of the “Avant Armada” was completely erased by some bloody officials. The people who took part in the expeditions were not sane people. Maniacs, psychos and common crackpots were forced by royal orders to eradicate Evil in the uncharted seas. “Here Be Dragons” describes these events. GAMEPLAY * Use original Dice Activation System to attack enemies, heal your crew, and upgrade the fleet. * Collect and use Command Points to turn the tide of the encounter. * Cross the seas with an ancient, living map, full of terrible creatures that want to devour you! * Confront the most fierce beasts that ever lived: leviathans and krakens, predatory whales and lustful mermaids. Decimate tritons, awake Dagon, and then erase them from human memory. SATIRE * Meet an extraordinary company of weirdos, madmen and oddballs. Their vices and virtues fuel the journey. * Experience clashes with bureaucratic machine. Don’t lose your mind when confronted by absurdities spewed by authorities and royal advisors. * Sniff at pirates. Ignore the settlers. You are above them. You are a monster hunter traversing through the aqua incognita. Who cares if you are insane? I’m not very deep into it but I’m starting to really like it, both visually and strategically. I decided to download it because I love “one deck dungeon” and when I saw the dices and the need to assign them I was sure I would enjoy it. I’ll play some more and then maybe expand on my comment in the next couple of days. RedZeroGames likes this. Congrats, App Store gave "Here Be Dragons" top billing. Edit: Just ran... Auto Rotate would be great. I tend to hold my iPad with the home button to the left. RedZeroGames likes this. Having been a gamer for over 40 years i still download a lot of games but generally discard 9/10 quiet fast; this is a 1 out of 10 that i will play fully. RedZeroGames likes this. I'm thinking about using your impressions in our game description if you don't mind. Could you give me a little tip about your e-mail? You have to forgive us. We received many, many scams from fake e-mails. People tell many moving stories, but they want to receive a promo code for reselling at the end of the day. Ok. It may be a more time-consuming issue to solve because it's an optimizing thing. But we will check out this subject. RedZeroGames Member Apr 12, 2014 12 8 3 Poland http://www.redzerogames.com #19 RedZeroGames, Jul 13, 2021 You can turn sound effects off or turn the volume down of SFX. Is it enough option? stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #20 stubbieoz, Jul 13, 2021 Nope, not for me anyway. I love sound effects in games, but I dislike the constant bell sound in your game. I’m kinda surprised that no one else has commented on it. I actually prefer to have seperate sound sliders for music and sound effects in my games as I tend to turn the music down but keep sound effects full volume. But I just know that in my case the constant bell ringing every time you throw the dice and perform an action, will drive me nuts. Shame as the game looks like a good one.
