    Thanks for the comments guys!

Retina support is coming, but it's not in this update. There's only two of us working on Helsing's Fire, and this time around, we decided to spend our time on adding content and features that all players & devices can benefit from. We'll get all the assets upgraded to retina resolution in a future update.

Having said that, I tried the game on an iPhone 4 and it looks surprisingly good as is. I think because the art-style uses lots of orthogonal lines, everything scales up fairly well and remains crisp. Not saying it won't look better x2 though :)

O wow man this is amazing. I don't understand what bounty mode is... Is it just a openfeint challenge game with random puzzles?? And also are there any new celebrations? Congrats on the new awesome update though!

Hope the update is approved ASAP, I won't have internet access in less than 24 hours.

Will you increase the price once the update arrives?

Sorry, no new celebrations this time.

The bounties are basically a big list of unsolved puzzles; external to the story. Everyone playing around the world sees the same list, and new puzzles are constantly being added.

If you solve one of these puzzles, you'll "collect the bounty" and get points, called "shillings". Only the first person to solve a puzzle gets shillings for it, and the more people that attempt a puzzle before it's solved, the more shillings it's worth.

The one trick is that the bounty puzzles are really quite hard. So you stand to get a lot of shillings if you can solve a tough one that many others failed.

There's a leaderboard for the shillings, and for each puzzle, you can easily see how many shillings it's worth, so you can get an idea about the difficulty.

Here's the main bounties screen, which lists collected/uncollected bounty puzzles, shows you which ones you've personally collected, and how many times you've attempted it:

Unless there's some stupidly awesome reason to, we're not planning to ever increase this beyond $0.99. Buy now or wait until there's even more campaigns, no rush :)

That's what I like to hear :) I'll buy it once the retina update is released. I got way too many games I'm not even 1/4 of the way through but I've been thinking about this one for a while

wait so basicallly the levels are gone after somebody beats it? If that's the case then there would have to be a lot of levels...how many are there in all? like 100? and also are new levels added in every update or is there like a server thing that game add new levels within the game?

    to die
    where rice paddies grow...
im guessing anyone can complete the bounties even after the first person completed it, but only the first to complete it will get shillings

You can still play bounty puzzles that have been collected, you just won't earn any shillings for solving them. Pretty much as aznriceboi13 says.

The bounties are handled server-side, so there will constantly be new puzzles and there's no worry that they'll run out. No updates required.

Are they downloaded to your device, or do you have to be connected to try them? Can I (for example) start the program, download all the latest bounties, get on a plane to New Zealand, turn on Airplane mode, spend 32 hours solving bounties, land in New Zealand, go sightseeing.

Are shillings only for egoboo, or are they exchangeable for anything in-game?

Since I've already bought it, I feel comfortable saying that this game is worth way, way more than 99 cents (obviously). I'd pay $5 for it.
