If you entered the promo code and all that went smoothly until it crashed at loading you should theoretically be fine re-downloading it for free.

 

does the message you get say something along the lines of: "Confirm you want to buy and download "________"
Your account will be charged X amount for this purchase and your app will download immediately"

If you click on BUY shortly after another message will pop up saying "you have already purchased this item, to download it again for free click OK"

The above only works for apps, not videos music of LP´s.
And yes, it also works with reedemed promo codes

 

Man, this happened to me once, I hada luxor code, I was scared crazy, I listened to a forum member here, redownloaded it(clicking buy on the app description), and it worked! Dont worry it wont take your money.

 

in any case if you really wanna make sure it won't take your money (which it won't) You can re.enter the promo code, if it says it's already been used it means that it's already been credited to your account so there is no need to worry.
