I was looking on iTunes for some stuff, and then I looked up "Mark of Mafia", because someone told me about it, and I wanted to just check it out, I guess. So I looked at the page, and then I'm sitting there, talking on MSN. I didn't move out of the page, I just left it there.

Anyways, I'm talking on MSN, and all of a sudden, iTunes blinks, as if I got a warning message. I check it, and a warning did appear. It says that there's a problem downloading 'Hannah Montana' something or other. So I am wondering if it screwed up or something, because I did buy an episode of Hannah Montana a while back, and I thought maybe the store was messing up.

So I click "OK", and I go into my Downloads, and apparently the entire album from Hannah Montana: Season 3 is downloading, including the "digital booklet". I have all these things downloading, but I'm not sure what the hell is going on, because I didn't buy them. I didn't click on anything to download it, I seriously left my iTunes there, and it started downloading all that stuff. I already bought the CD all this music is coming from (physical disc) back when it came out.

I go back to the iTunes Store, and click back, out of Mark of Mafia, and then the iTunes Store isn't even showing up. I exit iTunes, and then I check the store and it loads up again, but I still thought that was also kind of weird.
Can someone tell me what's going on here? Please only serious answers.

So I checked my Receipt on my Account, and it shows that I paid for the CD, but it's listed as a playlist...

I'm so confused right now. I didn't initiate paying for it, it wasn't a gift to me, and it's apparently something I bought but never got prompted to. I wasn't even looking at any Hannah Montana pages. I did look for some possible Hannah Montana applications, but I don't see why that would make me download a playlist of that album.

Is there a way I can ask Apple for a refund on this? How would I go about contacting them?

Your name makes it difficult to discern, are you a girl or guy? If you're a girl, Hannah Montana is k..if you're a guy then..well, words don't even begin to describe..nvm..

$50 bucks it's a guy! When I think of 'masterchief' in a username, I immediately think of some kid who doesn't know what to put for a username (No offence :p)

Anyway, here's the serious answer. Check your iTunes account to see if you got billed if not, then no harm done. But tell us your gender!

EDIT: Huh, didn't even know I reached a 1000 posts.

you dont HAVE to be a guy or a girl to enjoy something, but if you like Hannah Montana, you cant possibly be older than 16... :p

Interesting how you all assumed MasterChief was a guy...I just assumed MasterChief was a girl, from reading all their previous posts...
Guess we won't know for sure unless they feel like telling us... ;)

I checked the receipt and I was billed for it. Is there any way I can bring this up to Apple and ask for a refund?

And to end the debate, I am a 19 year old guy. To end any more debates, I'm straight. And to end just one more possible debate, my taste in music is much broader than just Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. It ranges from Black Sabbath to Pixies, Iron Maiden to Brand New.

    Answer all your questions? :p

That doesn't shock me, I am a huge fan of alternative music and DnB, but also enjoy listening to Pink occasionally. People's musical tastes should never be assumed, nor the age, gender, or sexuality of a person be assumed just on the basis of musical taste.

Definitely, although I wished someone took up my bet :(

The helpful reply part: Go to your iTunes account and click on report a problem. I've been refunded on apps before, I clicked report a problem and I had to type an email, they responded to me within a day, saying my account will be credited with x dollars. Never tried songs though.
