    I'd rather have a soft drink explode all over my ipad then to have an ipad explode all over my soft drink. So, it could be worse.

    I think the questions were asking are the wrong ones, the question should be; Are you SURE that it was a soft drink and not some other sticky substance? I mean the iPad is a internet browsing device, so I think that some may be inclined to use it in perverse manners.

    Works perfectly fine now after I left it for a week...

    Except there is a weird like 1cm dead zone of the touch screen on the side of the screen opposite the home button.
