i hope someone can assist with some ideas about this. im using windows 7 and itunes with ma iphone 3g, latest firmware. now my pc is sometimes prone to going mental so i keep regular backups of files. normally, if i flatten the pc to reistall windows, i drag the itunes folder back into my documents. now, i did this and hooked up itunes to tha phone, it happily churned away and backed up my iphone apps, but suddenly stopped halfway through. now i have half ma apps missing that were installed, but i do have the backup files in the itunes folder. oddly some have been renamed as 'game_x 1' instead of 'game_x'. am really puzzled why its done this now, worse still some of teh backups are games removed from the appstore so would love to get em onto ma phone gain, but itunes and sync will not find them any help greatly appreciated.
