I found the game, but for some reason it hasn't made it to the app store... Sorry about the length. Hey, I'm not really sure where to post this, but I need help finding a game. Within a year ago, a game was released in which you controlled a squad of maybe 5 soldiers. Your view of the area is top down. There are many walls for your guys to hide behind. There is an enemy squad. Your goal is to eliminate them. You can tell your guys to move to different places, shoot or whatever. However, you don't know the positions of the enemy. Once one of your guys sees an enemy, that enemies last known position will be shown. It's turn based strategy. I believe you have different types of soldiers too (bazooka, shotgun, machine gun, etc). I don't know the game your talking about, but it sounds a lot like the game boom brigade. The only think is that its a line-drawing game, not a turn based one.
Nope it's not Boom Brigade. The artwork is very strange, it's like mostly black, with color where the walls are, your guys, etc. The name might be something like "Cold something, frozen...synapses. That might be it. I'm checking right now.
That was my first thought too , but from what everything that the OP'er said , the game sounds a bit different .
I searched frozen synapses but didn't see any results. I'm 40% sure that's it. The title almost definitely contains the word synapses.
...I remember reading about it on touch arcade, but the game isn't in the app store...is it possible the article was about a planned release that failed?
