Thanks for the input guys. So popular vote seem to go to black, blue, then silver. I had the chance to go over to the dealership to actual look at the car. The black looks great, the silver ok, but the blue is jaw-dropping. The pictures don't do it justice at all. Definitely spoiled, no doubt. Like I said, I already mentioned this, but I'm also being pragmatic. In terms of durability, mileage, and (probable) resale value, along with weighing in my needs and the price (about 18 grand), I like to think I've made a smart choice. It has the highest safety rating a car can get, it's got consistently high reviews, and I have the perk of a warranty and the lack of mystery as to what the previous owner did with the car. I'm not keeping it for a couple years and trading it in, I'm sticking with it for a good decade. If I had the opportunity to earn the money for the car myself, I'd take it, but even four summers at above minimum wage, working consistently wouldn't cover the initial costs. I'm in no ways dreaming, and I know what it costs for my parents to give it to me, and I'm incredibly grateful. But go ahead, gimme another option.
