Where's Pepper? She's good at giving hints without giving too much away.

Yeah, gonna see if I can find another one I like better. The Cold one was one of the better IDAC games, IMO.

  2. I have no idea what game you're discussing, but it sure sounds interesting! :D What is it?

@Teagan & AppUnwrapper - stick with this one. Once you get going its really good. Have you found the DERF clue. Solve that and you will really get going

The game is A Cold and Deserted House by IDAC. They have done loads of escape the room type games. I think there is a new free one that has just been released called The Meddling Shogi Player

  4. I like the Shogi Player so far. Found so many items already. And there's a mug locked with a bike lock lol.

I think I am feeling sick when DERF is mentioned once again!! LOL
But like Pepper said after that the game is pretty straightforward.
Good luck on that, and HELLO to this new thread too! ;)

Will have to give it a go when I have finished Memories Lost on the Beach. Just one last hurdle and then I'm done

I just finished this too, loved it and it kind of has a charming story too hehe
But I found the Shogi Player one a bit annoying. It is not too hard but you always need to refer to several charts/drawings for clues (or was I just too lazy to screen cap them when I played? :D)

I've got a book(well 3 or 4 books now) where I write everything down or draw the pictures I see. Sounds like I will need it for this one

  9. Lol I just saw Speed: Escape Chamber has a lite version. I never bought the game because I had no idea whether it was any good. So will try out the free version. But I can't help but laugh at the reviews. They're so obviously fake -- not even about an escape game. So my hopes aren't too high.

I downloaded it when it was free  Haven't finished though as it is quite hard, random tapping won't help much as there is nothing much to interact with (or I have yet to find) LOL

I thought it was ok but a bit short. But at least you have easy and hard versions in the game.

Off topic, if anyone is in the UK and has any clubcard vouchers, Tesco are once again doing the deal where you buy a £25 itunes voucher for £12.50 of clubcard vouchers.

Never far away. Do exactly what it tells you to do. I got it as Alfred! But it doesn't mean add some more letters. You have to work with the letters you have

How did you get AL from + 2? Or is Alfred the answer? :D

Flared and Fardel are the only two words you can make using those letters.

It was the only word I could come up with adding 2 letters to Fred. BUT that is not what you need to do. You don't need to add ANY letters. You already have four letters and you have to do something to those 4 letters

If you had the number 1234 + 2 it would = 1236 or it could be 3456 if you didn't want the first 3 numbers to feel left out of the transformation

I guess I am to literal. 1234+ 2= 1236. There is no other answer. Thus, I'm lost when you say it could be 3456. You can give me the answer, I dont mind.
