Help for Adventure Games

  1. Yeah, but I figure for a bunch of free games, can't really complain. At least it's a small enough download to begin with. There might be another way, but I haven't found it.

I thought the games never stay on your device bc if you wait long enough you will have to redownload the game again in order to cont where unleft off.

  4. Hmm I guess I never waited long enough for that to happen. I usually notice it's taking up too much space and delete it.

And I thought you said Vanished was free, that's why I was confused ;)

That would be nice if they eventually went away, but I can't believe it should be that hard to simply add a delete function to the AppNavi program.

You guys have never had to redownload a game? If I wait too long in between playing, I have to redownload the game. My progress is saved but I have to download again. How do I tell if my app is taking up too much space and/ or the size?

I haven't, but then the plums game was the first one I actually played through AppNavi. I actually wrote to IDAC and they confirmed that there was no way to delete games, so I suggested they add it to a future release. We'll see if they respond back to me again. The only way I know of determining the size of an app is through right clicking the app's icon in iTunes and selecting "Get Info". I've never found a way to do it on the device itself.

I think you can find out on your device by going to Settings, General, Usage. After a bit of spinning it should bring up your apps with the amount of space used

That's cool! I wish I would have known about that feature a long time ago. You can even click on an individual app to see how much is app and how much is data. It gives you the option to delete the app from there, but sadly doesn't give you the choice to delete the data. Still, that's a really cool feature.

  10. Weird, I always look under Usage to see how much space I have available, but don't see the individual apps listed anywhere. Is this only on a later version of iOS?

That might explain why I never noticed it before. I've only been running iOS 5 for a couple of weeks.

I think there are still issues with ios5 but this little feature is quite good. Will have to look into more because I'm sure I don't use my device to its full potential

  14. I still haven't downloaded iOS 5 bc every time I try, it gets interrupted and I have to start from scratch. App downloads can be paused, but that huge iOS file can't :/

Yea that used to happen to me until I went to a friend who had Internet speeds 4x faster than me. Took him like 1 hr to download. :)

Okay, so I violated my own rules asking for help in the other thread. Anyway, I'm still stuck on that stupid Hide Behind Smile (or whatever that new IDAC game is). I can't figure out which lock the spot on the ceiling holds the password for, though my guess is it's the one with the thing on it that appears to be a pattern. I just can't figure out what to do and I can't get any of the passcode locks open. Argh!

  17. Lol I was wondering how long it would take you to bring it here ;)

Look for a keypad lock that has the same colors as the code you found.

Found that one to. That was actually my first guess, but when I couldn't get anything to work on that one I turned my focus to the one with the pattern. Guess it's back to the drawing board :(

I'm telling you, it's so simple in retrospect. You're gonna kick yourself if I tell you it!

Edit: Did you figure it out?

The letters on the ceiling are EX3......try turning that into a mathematical equation:) PW is case sensitive. E x 3=. I hope that helps:)
