Same place as the first one. If it doesn't work, do the math again. Also, make sure the game believes you saw all the clues -- zoom in on them as much as possible.
I'm at a loss. I've done the math several times, and I come up with the same thing every single time. I've tapped on everything 10 million times, and yet the game still won't take the code. I don't suppose there's any chance you actually remember the code?
I have it in my walkthrough. If you don't want to peek, you can tell me the number you're getting and I'll tell you if it's right
Actually, I checked your site first. Unfortunately I couldn't find a search feature, and after several pages of "previous entries" on the walkthroughs without successfully finding the one I wanted I just gave up. The number I'm trying to use is 559.
Hmm there's supposed to be a search box in the upper right corner. Thanks for letting me know.. I'll look into it. And your number is really really off.
Do you have to be logged in to get the search? Just to be sure I tried it on Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari (Windows version), and I didn't see the search on any of them. As for the number, can you just give it to me? I can't figure out any way to come up with a different number.
Hmm could be. I'll see if I can add a widget till I figure it out. And the number is Spoiler 163. Edit: Ok, added the widget. It should work now (hopefully).
Search works great now. Thanks! I was about to write this whole big thing about how I still don't get the number, and then it just clicked. I was calculating everything up until the first symbol after the last arithmetic operator as the first number in the sequence, and then using the second symbol and the last number as the second and third number of the sequence. Silly me...
Haha glad you figured it out. I noticed I didn't put the equation in my walkthrough. I may have screen shots of it to go back and put it in there. Won't help you anymore, but might help others
Well I enjoyed that, but I thought the last puzzle was a bit odd, and I also don't get why the monkeys weren't in the same order as the saying. Needless to say, I consulted your walkthrough a couple of times
Yeah, it seems like that game was rushed. Of all the IDAC games I've played, I rarely came across any real "mistakes" like the monkey thing. Pepper said she breezed through this one, though, so she must be some sort of genius It's too bad they didn't put the 3D graphics to better use. Not many of the items were even interactive. One of the older ones that I played recently and really liked was Dying Message - The Sequel (didn't like the first one quite as much). Their newer ones are pretty good, too (in AppNavi), with alternate endings. Edit: Oops, I've been playing so many that I'm mixing them up. The worst one was In the Darkness -- I couldn't figure out how to get the passwords even after I knew what they were!
I actually quite enjoyed Strange House. To me it seemed quite logical for the most part, except the numbers puzzles and of course the monkey thing. Sadly, as a computer programmer you'd think I'd be more apt towards number puzzles Anyway, I'm really starting to get into this whole "room escape" sub-genre of game.
I honestly would never have gotten some of the puzzles in Strange House without any help. They just didn't seem logical to me. I just gave the walkthrough a huge overhaul. Should be much more helpful now (I also realized why some people were having trouble with the phone).
Be careful, you will become hooked on IDAC games. I feel like they are a drug! Lol I liked Vanished which is free.
Okay, now I'm playing "The Whisper Of The Plums", which is irritating enough because I've had to consult AppUnwrapper's walkthrough a lot more than I should have. Now I'm stuck at the sliding door, and I've confirmed via the walkthrough that I'm entering the right code, but it will not open for me. Any thoughts?
Make sure you zoomed in all the way on both sides of the trowel (as well as the rose dangling from it). It's hard to tell sometimes what one thing is keeping you from doing it. You'll learn eventually to simply tap everything you see a million times
Speaking of which, I forgot to edit my post with a "never mind" - I tried it again right after posting and it somehow magically worked Must be the embarrassment factor or something... So anyone know how to delete games from AppNavi once you're done playing them?
Lol there must be a name for this phenomenon -- it happens to me all the time I delete the app when it gets too big, then download it again. Your profile and points should remain intact but the games are cleared off.
