HELP! Error Message 3036 Itunes 9.0

    I tried downloading 3.1 software update this afternoon...unsucsessfully. Now when I check for available downloads in itunes 9.0 it gives me an error message that says "Unable to check for available downloads. An unkown error occurred 3036". I have 11 downloads available (they all must be associated with my failed attempt to download 3.1). I searched the web and some have mentioned turning off any security. I turned off my WEP passwork temporarily and that did not help. Any ideas on how to solve this issue? Thanks

    I got annoying error messages too, I went to Apple's support site and chatted with someone, they helped.

    Why was it unsuccessful? Oh and try resuming downloads in your download page, maybe it'll install 3.1 correctly. But don't blame me if you screw up your iPod and have to restore it. Better to check with Apple Support.

    Having the sam problem. Just can't seem to fix it. :(
