This game kind of reminds me of the SAW movies because of the traps and the music About a 5 or perhaps a 6 IMO (beaten Slender: The Arrival, Outlast and Indigo Lake), this is more focused on puzzles than action or actual scares, overall is more like The Room
well it depends on your expectation or maybe the right question is "compared to what?". i ve been a beta tester of forgotten memories for months now and i can say that FM is the scariest horror game i ve ever played on iOS, hmm maybe on iOS,psp, ps vita. so if compared to FM, i would give this game on a level of scary a 5 out of 10. BUT, this game is not meant to build to be the scariest one, but i think its more like puzzle and action adventure blend into one. and i think they succeed with that achievement. overall gameplay 4.5/5 from me. this is one of the best game on the App Store for sure.
Yeah, I wouldn't say it's scary (at least going by the first few chapters) per se, but the entire game's got a death metal album cover vibe. You know, kind of how you'd look at a Cannibal Corpse cover; nothing that'll scare you...but they're warm, welcoming and so deliciously gory.
I bought it because I loved The Room. I am NOT a fan of the horror genre, and I definitely don't like things that make me jump. I'm about halfway through Hellraid and it has not been too scary. It definitely is a bit unsettling, in that you are surrounded by torture instruments, and you're in the dungeon, but not really scary. For perspective, I don't feel it is much more scary than The Room, just that the setting is less pleasant, to put it mildly. It's not something I would want my kids to play. However, I'm not sorry I bought it. I just have to get past that darn Minotaur!
Level 5 is too much stupid,specially in portal,after trying 20 times i delete game from iphone,thats better than brake the iphone...
What? I still remember playing The Room 2 at actually I played it at night for two days and with headphones I don't think it was scary. Actually I though it was puzzling not the leader bit of scary! I still haven't gotten started on this though!

Enjoyed it but holy shit it was short. It only took an hour or so to complete. But the price tag is definately fair and it looks like more content will be released
