As to your questions: we have 4 more classes planned: Spiritual Being, Paladin, Prophet and Angel. and of course all the other circles of hell will come also. Drop rate of souls: it's at 20% now (10% before the patch). perhaps I make it to the netherlands this year again. I was in Nijmegen last year with my bicycle. the Rhine is beautiful up there.

Great update!! Man of faith is Much more fun to play now, and the 1soul full heal is more balanced now with the droprate of souls. Gonna start playing again
Thanks for the update. Still adjusting to the various changes i've noticed. I had unlocked all three characters and leveled them to 27, 28, and 29. The timer streamlining is a nice change of pace and I've started playing again.

glad you guys like it! we're already working on the next update. here's some things that will make it for sure: - global missions (for instance: kill charon x times, 5 victories in a row, etc.) - map of the circles of hell - boss fight after each mission (pilgrimage (-> low dropchance for special dice), exorcism (-> higher dropchance for special dice), crusade (-> highest dropchance for special dice))
While I have enjoyed the game tremendously and appreciate the last update, I have noticed what may be some balance issues in the game. I have all three characters at level 30, with skills used at 28, 26, and 27, respectably, of 31. It appears that the "lightning" symbol is harder to obtain and accumilate. While i presently have more than 200 collected of all the other symbols, i have a meager 25 of the lightning. The Saint had been my favorite character, with her strength being longevity and slowly diminishing enemies health. I was able to use her to help excel the other 2 characters. I have found, however, that starting at "Second Circle of Hell: Lust" she really struggles with enemies that have advanced skills. Her weakness becomes very apparent. While she is able to maintain her health in earlier stages, here, she is unable to endure the larger lose of health and quickly buckles. Her effectiveness largely diminished.
hi Morgan01! nice read about the Saint. yes, there are certain enemies where the Saint isn't the best counter, especially the ones like Incubus and other skill-based damage dealers. she is great against the Succubus for instance, which specializes on stelaing your dice and lowering your reserve dice, both things the Saint has no problems to counter because of her skillset. but this is by design: we didn't wanted for every character to be effective against every type of enemy, so you have to learn and master the different strategies for the different characters you have. about the spiritual ressources: this is pure chance and it seems you have been unlucky obtaining "divine anger" -> lightning. we are thinking about adding some sort of ressource converter, but it's not agreed upon yet. with the next patch though, we will let the player "swap missions" again (for a cost of 10 faith instead of souls), like when we released the game, so you can choose missions with ressources you need for leveling up your characters. if you go the premium route, you should have the needed ressources rather quickly. even without premium, it should be manageable. cheers!

I got a problem.. I had to reset my iPhone, so I reinstalled the game.. Now I lost all of my progress.. I unlocked 3 chars, was at 4th circle, had earned (and payed) for a bunch of souls, now it's all gone Maybe future tip, login with Facebook or something to recover your progress in this situation.., I'm not upset, but it feels like a waste of money and time now

Game Impressions Just thought I'd create a profile here to say I love this game! It's quite the time vortex, real easy to blast a couple of hours and not even notice! I'll echo some of what the others are saying in regards to paying for the game, I agree that the subscription thing is a little steep, a one month sub is only a dollar off being the same as EVE Online. I know you need to make some money and pay some bills but most gamers are likely to be put off by the cost. I think a one-time cost for an unlock is a good idea (like most other ios games) but if it's the subscription route you want to go, then it really should be cheaper. Half the cost and net 3 times the players is still winning right? I know there's a balance to be found, but the same as a major MMO might not be it. That business aside, the game looks great, plays great and although very grindy suits my play style very well. The levels can be very hard sometimes but it feels real good to finally beat a boss that's been tough. I'm really keen to see more characters added to the mix, seeing some of the abilities the enemies have and I'm thinking damn, that would be fun to use... especially against another player I terms of a couple of things I would suggest for the game: Changing backgrounds for different circles when battling. This would help with the grind when leveling different characters from feeling too same-same. Characters and enemies look more worse for wear as their life bar declines. A bit more animation like that adds to the atmosphere of a game really well. Well anyway, I love this game and hope to see more updates coming out soon. Keep up the great work! I have a level 24 Devourer giving me trouble now so I'm off to kill it
hey Ouroboros - thanks for your feedback! and glad you like our game! I agree on nearly any point you have made. problem is, we are only 3 out of 5 people left here at smuttlewerk. adding more polish to the game would surely make the experience more immersive, but at the moment we don't have the manpower (time) to do so. the subscription thing was a test. we wanted to see how something like this performs. thing is: the game is not getting enough updates & content at the moment for the subscription model to work (and to justify the price for premium account). if we want to lower the price, we would have to upload a new version (and we have our hands full with other stuff atm), but we can alter the amount of souls you get by purchasing a certain package and the number of days you get a premium account via our server script. I'll do that right away. one of the guys who's no longer with us, was the programmer for HQ - there are no hard feelings between us and I hope to reactivate him (if he wishes to do so) in the near future to make the game complete. until that happens, updates will have to wait.
Sad to hear you have lost some of the team I sure hope you get your guy back to keep working on HQ, it's a great game and my girlfriend and I play it everyday As for the subscription thing, I think it would work better with the usual unlock once and buy goodies if you want them method (dice, souls, resources etc.) would work best. I couldn't help but notice you don't have a FaceBook for the game, I know you said you guys are busy with things right now but it sure is a great way to get the word out on you games, net more players and bring in some cash to keep the updates rolling Also, is the icy part of the map as far as it goes for now?
yes, hellcircle 3 is as far as it goes at the moment. we already have graphics done for 3 more hellcircles, but implementation is just not possible atm. I talked with Alex today and hope to activate him so he may work on updates. no promises though. facebook can help, but in our experience, if your game doesn't have many users its a waste of time. have fun!!
