Agreed, great game . the translations are horrendous though and make no sense at all. As far as I can see there is no option to select another language.
I hate it having no option for the language, specially if there is no need for a translation, imho (to german, in my case). Superb music with his typical crazy lovely visual style. While the relative touch controls have a certain momentum that you have to get used to, they work really well. Difficult for me to recommend it to iphone users, since your finger gets in the way a lot. Take two equal skilled players - ipad gamers will win, no doubt. Buy it to support a great Dev, whatever device you're on.
thanks everyone enemies are a little slower on iphone to make up for the smaller area (but yeah even with this i'd expect ipad to be a bit better off) everyone was pressuring me to localize apps to maximize revenue so i ran it through google translate and butchered where necessary to fit in the space dubious translations are classic arcade gameplay i don't want to do the same thing every time, it's definitely a different type of game to those i still need to update a couple of the older ones to deal with ios8 breaking things, i don't want to advertise them with a bundle until i've sorted that out
1) @Mr. Brough - is this an introductory price, or is this the price you plan to maintain? 2) there are a total of 163 people posting gameplay videos on TA. Can one of you please post something? Thanks.
Might never happen...how about to size down everything a bit on iphone (even if they are slower) ? This might help to stay alive just a tad longer...maybe. Is there a risk-reward scoring system, like circle three foes at once and get more points? So little i'm in (best 28), it doesn't seem so. Again, the music is brilliant !
clearing three enemies at once is already better because you clear three enemies at once, it doesn't need to be worth more points as well. there are the enemies that leave the screen though - you can score more if you're quick enough to catch them. all the sounds are by Andrew Toups - who also did the music for ZiGGURAT he's great
Have you thought about having a mode with power ups like a shield or a moving bomb that you can activate by circling it? Also, I love playing games with a stylus. So is there any way you could make the controls so you move by dragging on top of your character? How about a sensitivity adjuster for the normal relitive controls?
It would be nice to have some more game modes. Maybe a stealth mode where you gain one point for every monster that leaves the screen alive. In this case the challenge would be dodge them instead of spinning them. Maybe a survival mode where the monsters kill you by circling you. A game mode to the player stand in the monster's shoes. Maybe a multiplayer mode on the same device. PvP, coop, I don't know...
I love it just the way it is. A start from the start arcade style hi-scorer. I stuck it on my phone and pad so I could have a double helix. Sorry.
Same. I've found the controls to be pretty precise on big iPhone; I'll have to try it in the iPad mini now that I know the arena is slightly larger there. I played one game in portrait orientation and it worked really well, for anyone who prefers that.
I actually hadn't thought of that. In portrait on a 5S it play fantastically well. Although I'm still not very good at it. Yet.
