Its pretty much just like any of their countless others. Although the story has me a bit intrigued. I like the sphere grid concept too. I loved it in ff10 and I love it here lol. But I can tell theres more to it then just everyone having a basic sphere grid. You have to locate and collect the fire water and wind maps that open up another whole sphere grid for each character the element matches, so it gets big. On top of that you can collect these items that you use on your skills in the sphere grid to level them up so the skills are stronger. 3X battle speed and auto battle is also there for the lazy. The only main gripe I have is they brought back the customization for th weapons like theyve had in all their latest titles. Look guys customization is cool and all but honestly these games play better when you just upgrade your weapon from new stuff at new towns, or finding them in chests and leave it at that. The + X to make it stronger or adding and transferring effects is just tedious and annoying to deal with. The sphere grid should take care of the customization itch anyone has. Anyways I recommend you guys give it a try if youve like by of their games in the past. I haven't finished the other Kemco games I bought since I always get distracted but I can't resist buying a new title if it looks good. I absolutely love the FFX sphere grid this is up my alley. I also agree with you on weapon crafting. At first I thought it was cool but then later on it got too tedious with weapon inventory and saving up a bunch of junk weapon just for the stats. It was just a mess the longer I worked with it. Anyhow, this looks to have a portrait mode which is new for me with Exe Create. And the art looks like its by one of their better artists. Might just have to count me in on buying this one! (And this is so rare to have a girl on the icon. Generally its the men but the men tbh look a bit too generic so this is a welcome change) Edit: The game prices got more expensive? I recall the sale price before being $5.99 or 4.99. Now it's on SALE for $6.99 :\ I wonder what's up with that. I checked and their other "sales" are definitely at a bigger discount for whatever reason. zeroex Well-Known Member May 20, 2014 344 25 28 #4 zeroex, May 16, 2018 Sphere grid has me intrigued too... dbagga84 Well-Known Member May 22, 2013 835 24 18 #5 dbagga84, May 16, 2018 Yeah. Since Im broke I just opted for the free version lol but yeah the portrait mode is nice although it took me a second to accurately control my character with the virtual stick because I kept wanting to push the center with my thumb and just move it around but you actually have to push on the edge where the arrows are. It has made running diagonally a bit of a challenge for me. There is always the tap a spot and watch them walk there option but I have always preferred the feeling of being totally in control of my character lol. Anyways so far I havent felt I needed to make the purchase or buy any of the iap purchases (extra xp, gold, etc. ) Solarclipse Well-Known Member Jul 30, 2012 879 64 28 #6 Solarclipse, May 17, 2018 This. Exactly how I feel and why I havent picked up a kemco title since...the original asdivine hearts? Skill syste, sounds cool...there was one kemco title where you had Tetris shaped gems and could customize chapters with it, forget what that was, It those kinds of customizations are more interesting, not tedious at all. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #7 L.Lawliet, May 17, 2018 I ended up buying it because I can't stand ads. Those games always get me with the ad removal iap. I notice that now there is no global exp boost item. It's now an accessory. If this is good or bad, I can't tell. I'm leaning on bad since it implies you should buy one of each for every party member. I probably won't buy it because I'd have to keep swapping one accessory between every party member. In fact, I'm not sure what to buy with my 1000 premium points. The only things that look really enticing are costume armor and then one accessory that says every attack you make is a critical hit (lol). And maybe that 50% item drop boost is not bad either. dbagga84 Well-Known Member May 22, 2013 835 24 18 #8 dbagga84, May 17, 2018 Im not sure how far youve gotten but I hit a major difficulty spike. I had to go fight a golem so I can get some guys boat to go to the next shrine and I barely beat that golem when all the other battles before it have been fairly easy then all of a sudden this golem comes in and it takes me like 15 minutes to beat him lol then I took the boat to the next area and regular encounters are just whoopin my ass. I even died in one of them against 3 monsters. At this point Im gonna have to grind some levels and hopefully some extra grid skills. I dont mind difficult but holy crap! Lol honestly if I had the premium currency Id get the exp ring or even 2 if the ring only gave double xp to the user and not the party. Then just switch em every 2 levels or so. Maybe something that increased the amount of grid points we receive if there is one. I feel like I could really use some of those weapons you get for cashing in the silver and gold coins. anyone else get to the golem and the desert area and find the difficulty spike kinda crazy? nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #9 nyanpass, May 17, 2018 Last edited: May 17, 2018 Here is an official introduction to this game. http://www.kemco.jp/sp/games/kd/en/index.html P.S I hope that this developer(publisher)'s another game(Alvastia Chronicles=Senki) will be released in global(English). http://www.kemco.jp/sp/games/as/en/index.html (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
