Around 2-3 hrs. Overall it was fun and realy well animated. It was funny but not absolutly hilarious and it was a bit to short.
You guys don't waste time do you? I'm taking it slowly. LOL @ the intro. I'm referring to the acronym starting with the letter "T".
2-3 hours is like a Sam and Max episode. I have a feeling most people here will be playing this for far longer than 2-3 hours. Heck, it took me an hour, just to get out of the police station without spoilers.
Don't know too much about point and click games or the puzzles spoken of in this forum. Can someone help? Are puzzles challenging at all? Or is this game good mostly because of the graphics and humor? I am a fan of puzzle games more then story mode--though I am interested in this title. Thanks in advance
If you have never played a point and click you will find it challenging. I would like to add that I will be buying the next episode.
I think I spent something like 5 hours on it, but I liked reading all the dialogues. 5 stars on the french App Store from me.
Point and click games usually feature environmentally based puzzles; that is, puzzles that are based around story tasks and objects in the environment. For example, you have to get out of jail, but the door is locked. You need something to pick the lock. You see a paperclip, but can't reach it -- you need something else, etc. You can use objects in the environment, combine objects to crate new ones, etc. The nice thing about this game is that the humor is well integrated into the puzzles, so that the solutions themselves are funny.
Haha, with a little help.... the part was really funny. Damn this game is even funnier than the most famous Lukas titles. Instant classic, if you ask me.
Time for a public stoning... Listen, kids. I don't know if you've seen this monkey in the US App store who thinks he can give my game a 1-star review. Now, I've been nice to you, throwing you tasty morsels of promo codes and that, so it's about time someone was nice to Hector. Stop raving about how great I am in here, and go post some 5-stars on the App Store. It's the least you could do, what with me giving you such a stellar example of what iPhone games should be. And just to sweeten the deal, I'll let you in on a secret. You know my partner, Lambert? That tall bugger at the hostage scene? Well, he may be dumb as a sack of dead hamsters, but he's the closest thing you get to an in game hint system. Whenever I get stuck, I go have a natter with him, and somewhere in the course of his mindless meandering nasal dialogue he might drop a nugget or two. No guarantees, though. Over and out, D.I. Review sites get less and less relevant to me every day. The opinions of this forum beat reviews 100% of the time.
