We are alive and the project is still alive! Here's a new blurry Vine video. I had problems with Vine's short URL. Let's hope this works better. https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/CD6E10E22D1048708844882460672_1c725dca64f.4.4.1088331582248285561.mp4?versionId=phIQlxG8975KhTSQpCUPeWCkaJC6mg0b
Missed this thread the first time around, and now I'm anxiously awaiting the chance to play this. Very anxiously indeed.
Happy childhood Gravity Force memories is one of the main reasons we are developing this game. We'd be glad of your help with beta testing but not just yet.
Awesome. I watched the Vine video and it looks like exactly the sort of game I've been waiting for. I think it'd be good if you put a 1v1 Dogfight mode in there against varying levels of AI difficulty. Are you going to have a random level generator? Also, is the terrain destroyable? I remember part of the GF2 fun was blowing a path to your enemy with rockets. Rocketz on the Amiga was another really good GF2-style game. It was fast as hell but great fun! http://youtu.be/6xruHgWA1fI?t=30s
Unfortunately we don't have game level generator or destroyable terrain. But these are good ideas for Heavy Rockets 2.
Bad news. Heavy Rockets is once again being delayed a few months. Q2 2014 is an optimistic release date for Heavy Rockets "beta" version. It will be available for players in Finland. If you are wondering what we've been doing lately, here's couple of screenshots. Visual effects looks quite nice now.
That's too bad :/ Well, at least the extra time can only make it better Those effects do look rather nice now!
One of the reason why the game is delayed is because we have now plans for android version too. We'll have to rebuild the game menus because of that. We have also some problems with server related things. And of course there's still bugs and smaller things that needs to be solved.
Yep, I'm still really excited for this one - really wish you guys would look into getting this on the PS3/PS4/360/XB1
New iPhone 4 screens. Touch "joystick" is a bit too small at the moment. It's very difficult to fly with the rocket, but that's easy to fix. Multiplayer game over shared wifi is super fun, though there's still some bugs that needs to be fixed.
Looks great. Those iPhone screens I take it you can switch position of the joystick as it looks like it's set up for left handed users? Normally the joysticks on the left and the buttons on the right
