Not sure if I'm missing something but how is that unlucky, yeah he pulled the same legendary but I watched like 2 minutes of it and he pulled 4 legendaries in about 6 packs! I'd be over the moon with that, if nothing else, soooo much dust!
Is there any subtle clue in the borders or backgrounds of cards to indicate which set they're from? Occasionally I'll run across a very cool card in my travails with Crossroads Tavern Brawl, but am never sure if it's an older card I never previously noticed, from Grand Tournament, or one of those Crossroads only cards.
It's very subtle, but there is a symbol behind the card text on every card aside from those in the basic set. Classic Packs - Hearthstone symbol Naxx - Skull GvG - Gear BRM - Mountain TGT - Shield Hope this helps!
Very helpful, thanks! What about a way to tell how many cards you have in a set or how many you do not have in that set? Do I have to look up how many are available in each set online and count them individually?
There isn't a counter or checklist in game, but if you go into "My Collection" and click on the Crafting button you can very easily look at what you have and what you're missing. You can filter by set, so that helps in knowing where you need the most cards.
The embossed symbol behind the text, duh, now I see it, thanks! I like how some odd cards only bosses could use in the solo modes and aren't really part of any available sets can appear in your randomly constructed Crossroads Tavern Brawl decks.
So it's been a while since I played, and I was wondering if mech mage is still good. If it isn't, then could anybody please tell me what decks I should start working on?
Mech mage is fun to play. I think most mage decks are centered around the Firewalker these days though - deal 2 damage to random enemies every time you cast a spell. You can do tons of random damage with that card. I really love Dragon Priest. A lot. It is fun, satisfying and wins pretty well. I got to my highest rank ever last season with it.
Thanks. I think I'll stick with mech mage. I'm not a huge fan of building decks around a single card (the Firewalker, for example) because if you don't draw that specific card, the rest of your deck will be a lot less effective.
So glad I crafted Confessor Paletress. She's my favourite. You can feel your opponent groan and sigh when you whip out this beast. If she was universal, I'd recraft her in a golden version! Also crafted Faceless Manipulator. So worth it for the fun factor alone. Now...I need another good universal legendary for fun... I have Rognaros and Dr Boom already. Ysera? Sneed?
Was thinking about you the other day when I drew her from a pack. What kind of deck do you have around her. I love priest (almost as much as Paladin), so I'm just looking for an excuse!
I play my own control deck. I've never looked at other people's decks and just play my own for fun. I hate how everyone plays the same warrior/patron deck (no offense if you do). I just like to play with cards I enjoy and a control syle deck allows me to use a lot of my cards with varying strategies depending on what's out there.. I don't even know what the zoo and all the other deck names that get thrown about mean Can't believe you got her in a pack. She is so much fun to use. Sure she usually can only summon a legendary but it forces your opponent to deal with her first and then your new legendary. She's worked out for me 9/10 times. One time she drew Pagle...you had to laugh at that garbage but the other times they've been solid legendaries. And now with Faceless Manipulator...ouch! I'd pay any amount of money to have her as a neutral to use in all my decks if I could! lol
Ha. Nice. Yeah I just meant what type of deck do you put together. I just went up against a priest with her. He had me neutered and pulled her out. He literally had a full row of legendaries. He was healing me and I didn't concede, just so we could see what he'd pull. I think he got pissed when I got bored and took her out. That was the end of me! Oh, and no I don't play warrior or face hunters. Paladin, priest, and druid mainly.
Is it just me, or is the game really laggy? I tried deleting and reinstalling the game and restarting my device, but there's still a 5-10 second delay whenever I play a card or attack with a minion.
That's probably particular to your own connection or a temporary server issue. I've not had any issues (NA servers) but also haven't played today, if you mean very recently.

I think it's my connection as well. Although I did play through two matches of Vainglory just fine, so I'm not really sure to be honest. I might just use LTE since the game doesn't really use much celluar data.
I would probably make Alextrasa. He helps me so much! I really love all the inspire cards from the expansion, the're so much fun to play with and are actually good. I really wish I had paletress, but I made chillmaw with all my dust for a dragon Mage deck.
