New to the game as there is a recent iPhone update. I would like to play the solo adventure but it cost 700 gold. How do I earn it? Earn it daily by doing the daily quest 40per day? So it's 18 days? Lol
I got 100 gold.... Do I buy a standard pack or a goblins pack? What's the difference... Just pictures on cards?
I got 100 gold for unlocking all characters and the quest today gives 100 gold as reward I think for playing 5 online games
My god, Kel'ThuAd class challenge for pally is killing me... I bet i have failed close to 20 times... The deck they give you to work with is garbage lol
I would swap out - 1 shiv + 1 auto barber - 1 violet teacher + 1 shredder - 1 kobold + 1 loot hoarder ( this is just my preference since you have two drake for spell damage) - 1 farseer + 1 healbot Also you will have more luck if you ask on some other dedicated HS forum like Hearthpwn, liquid hearth...
Tough call. The Gnome packs introduce some nifty new tricks but you're probably best served starting off with a few basic packs first, IMHO.
I openly admit, I'm addicted to this game. Everything has been put aside, I cleared all of naxx this weekend and now working on blackrock... Shouldn't shock me, Blizz games seem to have this effect on me

Update on my issue. Ive been trolling the Hearthstone forums and evidently, it is looking like there is some kind of bug in Casual Play mode, since a lot of people are having the same problem I am. I switched to Ranked mode (as did some others) and managed to win a couple games, and I was able to record my wins, my character gained XP, and I got my gold winnings. I hope they fix this.
It's my opinion that you will have more success in ranked mode as a beginner. Once you break rank 20 you might notice a large spike in difficulty. If that happens, you can always switch back to casual. If I were you I'd make sure to fill out a ticket with Blizzard to document your issues that your having with the game. You never know. They might hook you up with some free gold.

Honestly, ranked mode is the better experience over all. Plus, you can't earn a gold hero (500 wins) in casual. The only time I play causal is to knock out a daily quest that has me use a class that I'm no good with, and the only time I even do that is when I get two quests that have that same class in it.
I'm still noticing an odd amount of disconnection when I play on my phone, compared to my windows tablet on the same wifi connection. How is the new expansion? I flew through naxx with a fairly basic deck (not heroic mode though), is black rock (?) more challenging?
No, the normal modes and class challenges so far have been just as easy, if not easier. Still working on heroics, though. I do think the bosses are more enjoyable over Naxx.
