Can someone answer this? I've won two games in play mode that qualify me for my daily quests.. Eachtime I get a message that "you or your opponent do not qualify for gold" . Is this a bug? I've worked hard to win these games and want my gold! Or am I missing something?
You are capped at 100 gold a day. Either you or your opponent has reached that cap. Hence the message
I didn't win any gold today. Yesterday I won 200 I think. Maybe that's it? Then when I played another game, the rope started burning every time it was my opponent's turn almost immediately when the turn began…I reported this to the forum but qualified it by saying I wasn't sure it was a bug.
Did you concede repetitively in casual mode? I've read in the Blizzard's forums that this could be the reason: http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/forum/topic/14728923112
The behavior you observed is not a bug: should the rope burn to its end during one player's turn, it will appear again right at the start of his/her next turn. This is to quicken games where a player has quit (and the game did not detect the player was disconnected...?).
I've had this before and been nowhere near the 100 gold cap. I read somewhere there is some detection algorithm to stop automated 'bot' players winning gold and sometimes this kicks in unexpectedly. I heard that emoting helps so I always start with a Greetings. But I try to do that anyway because I'm a bloody nice chap when I'm not trying to pummel your face.
Believe me, Im not nearly a good enough player to consider "auto-botting" . My wins are hard-won-this game is not easy for me. However, I appreciate all the comments and will keeps this in mind. I did concede a couple games that I knew were going to tank, but now Ill just wait til the end.
How come it takes forever for to attack or play any cards? Every time I make some sort of move, the top part where the battery icon is blinks and shows me an X. And it takes seconds to do ANYTHING.... I tried this on my wifi and lte. Da fuq
I just got back into Hearthstone (thanks to iPhone version) after having quit right after Naxx was released. So my question is, if I were to spend any money at this point what should I spend it on first? Naxx, Black Mountain or Gnomes vs Goblins packs?
I got the same thing happening. As soon as I see the X I close app, restart and hope that it reconnects to the game.
I'm wondering whether it is actually server side because this was happening to me yesterday (Americas) too, despite trying both WiFi and LTE. Haven't had it happen again since yesterday morning. The fact that they choose to use a symbol that implies it is the phone may be misleading but at least there is some kind of indication.
Sorry again. Every time I win a play match (which has only been 4 times in the last two days), I get that message that I or my opponent do not meet the rating requirements to earn gold. This has only happened since the last update. Ive played with different decks, done everything suggested and not only does this hamper my gold earning, I also cannot level up. I checked the forum and Im not the only one with this problem. This is very frustrating as Im actually starting to get incrementally better at the game.
Just played a while ago and i lost 7 games in a row, zero wins. And that's aside from my 3 wins, 18 loses yesterday. maaaaan that was frustrating. Been trying the oil rogue thing since it's the closest to tempo. Guess i need to learn the deck more
