I played my free GvG arena run, and did pretty poorly (2 wins). But then I was playing in constructed, and my webspinner spun out a Gahz'rilla! Except, sadly, I never got to play it because I won before I got the chance. Because it would have been super cool.
@BohemianCoast That's crazy! I'm going to try Webspinners to get GvG too. My free arena is going well. I chose Warlock. Plenty of GvG cards offered to me. I should be 3-0 but I played this morning before I was truly awake. I had lethal but played in the wrong order and then lost. I was so angry at myself. I usually play casual when I know in not awake yet.
I'm terrible at arena I've played it twice for free since returning to the game this week. I got 3 wins then knocked out and the first time was worse.
I got 5 wins in arena with my free gvg run. I must have been lucky since one player I played must have disconnected he did not do anything
My shop as well... They seem to have been slammed today with server issues so maybe something to do with that?
Lots of people complaining that the shop is closed for them, myself included. I was really looking forward to buying some new pack tonight and playing.
I still play this game just enough to get the cardback each month, which is not very much play at all. I still get all nerd ragey everytime I play against a priest, because it never fails that they steal my freaking antonidas or ragnaros with mind control or though steal. Sometimes both. Imactually got hosed real bad one match where the priest had two antonidas out. I know, I know, expect it and keep a means to deal with it in your hand. I do that. It just pisses me off, because every time it happens, I feel like I just got punished for putting legendaries in my deck. And sincee I payed into this game so I could be able to craft those legendaries, it's like I'm getting punished for spending money. I guess I'm just whining, but I see my cards being able to be used against me as a dissentive for putting in powerful cards, which is kind of the opposite of the business model of this game.
Just wondering how do I actually get expert packs? All I see are the ones that say good for beginners but while playing it said I'd need expert packs now to improve my deck. Also at what rank do I need to be to get the card back? Finally what rank will I start losing my rank? Just wondering what rank I'm safe at where if I lose I won't drop. Sorry to bump my own post but nobody answered me yet. Also it seems pretty unfair that everyone is now using the new cards and I can't find them on my uk version yet.
Woohoo bought 10 gvg packs with gold and i got Bolvar Fordragon and Gazlowe! Looks like im lucky today!

I opened 40 packs and got two of the crappiest, malorne and the ogre one. I bought it with gold though. Not lucky with packs opening. Lol.
That sucks. What's the expected ratio of legends to packs? Is 1 in 20 about right? I have three packs unopened from Arena that I hope I can use, plus the three free ones, then I'll fork out for another 40. And I've got enough dust for one legend of my choice too, which is destined to be Troggzor if I don't get him in a pack. On Hearthpwn there's a post by some unlucky guy who bought 68 packs and received just one legendary!
I opened 30 packs and got only one legend which is the shaman. So it's murlock time for me. I like my epics though. I want malganis or the priest legend(which is so broken). My prediction, priest is going to be very strong with this new set.
I opened 15 packs last night. I got 1 legendary but it's crap. It's the Voltron head. But I'm getting duplicates up the wazoo. Is anyone else getting tons of dups? There are a few cards that I have 4 and 5 copies of. I actually have 5 more packs to open but I stopped because I didn't want to get more dups. Did this happen to anyone else?
It is said that the only good Priest cards are the ones you give them. That's just what it is to play priest.
