There is a minion, the demolisher I think it's called, that destroys a random enemy minion at the start of your turn. Warlocks have a curse that destroys a minion at the start of their next turn. Perhaps it was something like that?
I sent friend request to 5 people, only 2 accepted. Just a reminder that you don't get any notification of friend request, have to manually check them under friends tab. Would really like to play with more people from forum.
Yeah, right after I posted that, I fired up Hearthstone and drew that card while building my arena deck. I immediately thought, "oops." lol.
You are fighting against which hero? The only way a minion will die at end of turn, or before your opponent's turn will start is against Warlock's corruption. I can't think of anything else. If a minion has divine shield, again, more so that the only thing that can kill it is corruption without doing any damage to it.
Just had a combo thought: if you put the "questing adventurer" in a shaman deck, would his totem ability count as "playing a card"?
Hit two kinds of "limits" in the game recently. So thought I would share what happens. If you run out of cards in your deck, you then take a damage of 1 at the start of each turn. The second limit is on the max number of cards you can hold in hand. I believe it was 8? After that I could see the next card come in and then disintegrate away.
I've only run out of cards once (thanks to playing Sprint near the end). Worth it for the win though! I think the maximum number of cards you can have is 10. I've played Vanish a few times as the Rogue and forced opponents to lose cards that way.
It's cumulative. You first take 1 damage for the first card you cant draw, 2 damage for the second card you cant draw, 3 for the third, etc. If you can force your opponent to draw more cards, they count towards this damage counter (fatigue counter). It's 10. When you have 10, you lose any card that will go to your hand.
Thks for your answers about dusting guys Had my first ranked encounter with Ysera. I thought I had a good game so far, and bam an Ysera related spell wiped out my board. Felt a bit unfair, allthough I understand it's part of a CCG. Not sure I understood well its special ability though? I now get how frustrating it could be in higher ranks playing this kind of decks with a lot of rare/epic/legendary if you haven't got a lot yourself. For now, I lost (a lot!) but mostly due to well constructed (but cheap decks) strategy from my opponent and/or bad luck drawing cards/badly constructed decks from myself. Ysera kind of cards require different kind of defensive planning or else you're instantly dead meat Not saying it's impossible to win against expensive decks but the challenge is huge if your opponent is good.
That's the thing about ranked play, specially since it's the start of the new season.. It's brutal even on the low ranks.. I would have to disagree though that it's all about power cards.. One of the top flight decks now is a hunter deck that only has 3 rares... The rest are commons and basic cards.. There's also the warlock zoo which are comprised of rares and common cards which made it to the legendary rank.. The players that are going on ranked play are very competitive, and knows most if not all the cards in the game. So they know how to play around your cards or your hero ability.. The good thing about a devastating loss is you'll learn and be better.. Btw peeps who want to add me pls. do so.. prosper05#1296
Btw just would like to add something about yserna... The dream cards are random and not all of them are that dreadful.. For me an Alextrasza or a ragnaros is more dreadful because they'll do something immediately that changes the tempo of the game..
Thks mate, added you. Mine is vicsark#2587 if other fellow TAers want to add me I've been beaten a lot before and that's the great thing about this game, most of the time it was insightful and interesting to see some good tactics or well constructed decks. But that was the first time I really felt I was beaten by a single legendary card while I had played well imho (the dude even cloned it with another spell card lol). That was not the usual feeling of "well played, thks for the game" I have most of the time I lost
