Yeh that is the downside of this server stuff. Anyone know if the single player campaign coming out is for offline too? Very much doubt it. Servers down means cannot play. Long plane flight cannot play. Out of reception cannot play. Hope that can put just something in for some kind of offline play.
I played from Chicago to San Diego yesterday, just pay for in-flight WiFi. If your flight doesn't have it, book with a non-3rd world airline next time.
The ranked season ends on the 30th. Does the game follow GMT? I haven't bothered with ranked at all yet. But TA's article says you need to win just 10 games to get the card back. Also I now realise that "a card back" literally means the back of the card. I initially misunderstood that to mean we get some card back from the game
I also hadn't bothered with ranked yet, but after reading the TA article, I gave it a try. It was really easy to get to rank 19, as consecutive wins gives you bonus stars and a star for the win. and you need only 2 stars to move up a rank below 20, without losing stars when losing a game. I won matches easily with my hunter and a deck with a lot of cheap beasts Not sure I'll care for ranked now, casual is good enough for me, and I have only a few rare cards. What more do ranked games wins give you btw? Just a level?
Also - while not immediately achievable, only Ranked wins work towards the 500 wins per class that gets you the GOLD and animated hero portrait and hero power! Since I'm not overly concerned with getting to Legendary - I now make it a point to usually battle in Ranked so that at least my classes slowly get towards getting those cool animated graphics.
Thanks. So from what I understand, there's no reason not to play Ranked till you achieve 20 in a season, even if you're not very good. You get the season cardback and also move closer to getting the 500 wins achievement in the long run.
The 500 wins doesnt reset in each season? Coz that'd be awesome. The reason i stopped playing ranked was that i thought the 500 would reset, and i thought i didnt have enough time to hit 500 by the 30th.
It does not reset. But we'll know for sure tom. I doubt it will, it's impossible to win 500 games in a month unless we're addicts.
