The new adventure mode is making me more excited with this game! Single-player content with bosses and dungeons, oh my! By the way, nice game last night Pscience! Mage control vs Warrior Midrange = long but epic games!
There is a guy at hearthstone reddit, who designed dk and monk skills and cards. Sadly, lost the link. I am thinking of crafting 2 ancient of war and a faceless to complete my druid ramp. I am a bad druid player though. Hehe.
^Speaking of decks, i think i have to make a different deck for now instead of force out a Warrior control deck when the cards are just too difficult to farm dust for. Im thinking either Handlock control, or Watcher Druid Control. Are there any competitive pure control decks other than Warrior, Mage, Handlock and Watcher?
There are so many possibility and way to play I love this game. I only wish now after new adventure mode coming later this year that we will get more heroes/class and special cards!
Viable control build: Handlock Warrior Control Watcher Druid Ramp Druid Shaman Control <- prolly cheapest to make, weak vs zoo and hunter rush Sadly, the best right now is Warrior Control and Handlock. Aggro is just dirt cheap to make and effective and that is why you see alot of them. I am loving my Watcher druid, and incomplete Ramp druid. It is working well for me.
If I downloaded from the Canada store and live in the US, is there any reason why I should delete and reinstall when the US version hits? Does it affect updates? By the way loving the game, been playing with a priest heals deck w a lot of success (just downloaded a few days ago). I love that I can message my WoW friends while playing (I quit 2 years ago tho). I'm really excited for the single player campaign as well, guess it's based on Naxx (one of my favorite raids).
does not matter what you use. its all synced online to battle net account and uses same game versions you cant buy card packs without gift card unless you switch to your local version though
You won't be able to make in app purchases unless you get the us version. You can buy things who gold but not real money.
^Thanks, as usual. Yeah, removing Raging Wargen and that commander that gives charge to put in more anti aggro cards crippled me against control decks, even though they proved really useful against aggro now. I cant seem to find a middle ground to balance the matchups. EDIT: LOL... quote didnt work for me this time.
I believe iPhone version is coming out in a later date. iPad version is coming in 1-2 weeks max. @EP If you are still itching to make a control, would suggest Watcher Druid. Not the best deck, but much more versatile IMO. Not too expensive too.
There's a tutorial of how to install the iPad version on an iPhone on reddit. It's really easy. The problem is, you can't read anything cause the font is too tiny so you will have to remember what each card does. Dunno if it's worth the struggle.
Back on to this, I'm convinced you have to be jail broken though. Pretty sure it says that in the very first post of that reddit thread.
That may be one way to go. The core cards are similar with handlock and it seems each class can actually run ancient watchers, owls, defenders, farseers, and put in board clearers and removal plus win conditions and they could end up a decent control deck. Im definitely going to save up for these core cards, see if i can make some control decks from the other classes starting from these. The thing about warlocks is their card drawing though. His hero ability alone can setup 4 giants in the midgame. Druids have their mana ramps and the very flexible beefy minions. I stared in disbelief when i faced a turn-one yeti. Maybe a mage can take advantage of these core cards too, but stick to the mage's spells as her win condish.
