I ended up with 4 class legendaries. Mage, rogue, paladin, and hunter. I guess I will have to craft the old gods. Not all of them. Maybe 1 or 2. I opened 91 packs all together.
So I'm in a match and my opponent is playing all "thun" buffs and I'm like, "Damn Daniel, that's a huge Thun you got there", but his Thun doesn't show up, so I win. Loving the update.
Exactly. I've stayed away from most of the card spoilers, because I wanted to go into the expansion blind. Seeing new cards for the first time while opening card packs was something I had been looking forward to.
Gave up on opening packs yesterday when it started doing that to me. Also the NEW labels were acting goofy, so I was having a hard time telling what I had gotten. I'm sure it's all gonna be downhill from here after I got this pack in my initial 3 +17 bought with gold... 3 Legendaries so far, which is 1 less than I've opened the entire time I've played! Also, I seem to be getting a decent amount of Epic cards. Pretty happy with my draws so far - gotta finish up my next 7 Standard quest and see what I get there.
Hahahaha same, except the person played their 18/18 C'thun. To which I immediately answered with faceless manipulator on him, then BGH'ered his original C'thun. I win.
Faceless has always been one of my Favourite little control deck cards. He can make some really fun stuff happen.
Same here. I've managed to drop him late game with Brann already on the board only once, but it was glorious. I lost count of how many spells were going off. It pretty much cleared the entire board, brought my opponent down to 4 health, filled my hand with cards and loaded me up with mage and pally secrets. I only manage to play him about once every five games on average, but it's so damn fun that it's worth the wait.
It is sort of annoying how long it takes to resolve, but yeah, it is the most fun card in the game. The other Gods (at least in terms of animations) are fairly lackluster.
Ok, I just played the funniest match ever. My two Spellslingers gave me a Raven Idol and a Shadoestep. The Raven Idol let me discover a second Yogg. I already had one Yogg in my hand. I then proceeded to play Yogg every time over the next three turns, lol.
Only somewhat appropriate, and probably NSFW, but funny nevertheless... And for some reason I find myself playing Warlock ATM. Was the only class I had all the cards for a deck recipe. So far doing much better than expected as 'Classic Warlock' in Standard. On the verge of crafting some Renounce Darknesses and maybe Gormok...
While I have all 9 classes standardized and fairly competitive, Rogue and Warlock are the two shining brightly for me. Went with a Renolock build that just... works with the current meta. It has a counter for everything all whilst building well in its own. This is the first time I've actually been legit excited for Rogue though. If you guys want me to post a deck list I can. It's not lost yet (though I'm only at rank 15 for now). It's not IMPOSSIBLE to beat by any means, but it's Mid-Gamey but holds its own against aggro, control and other mid-gamey decks. It steals too many things.
