That was post no. 2000, so I'm pretty sure you get all your wishes granted. I don't seem to cross paths with Noz much at all.
Still haven't thrown a single dollar at this game, at rank 13 and counting this season. Seems the only thing I need to do to improve my game was ditch rogue and play pally.
Really getting annoyed with this game. Too much RNG going on. Decided to delete from my phone as it's just pissing me off lately. Think you have someone beat and then they use that damn card that heals them all the way back up. It's just getting out of control (and not in a fun way). Guess instead of getting mad at a game I'll just delete and spare myself the headache.
I hate this card. Twice since it came out I've had someone at 1-5 health when they pulled it. Very frustrating.
I agree Reno can be frustrating to play against but my favorite is when yesterday I played against a freeze mage and they dropped Reno when they had 8 life left and I had a ton of damage on board...Reno didn't proc and they insta-conceded. It was very satisfying to me. I think it's an interesting card but I can understand where they come from on making the card. They are TRYING to slow down the Meta of face decks and that card is a good one to do it. No to be fair it is 1 card in your deck of 30 but still. I think a lot of people have just gotten used to winning/losing in the first 6-9 turns and if it goes longer people get frustrated for investing so much time in a long game and losing that they get fed up with it. I get it but for the game to "shine" I think this was a necessary evil. Noone likes losing on turn 6 to the Christmas Tree Pally so Reno gives the option for non face decks (and some face decks) to sustain long enough to actually make a game out of it. Idk honestly I'm on the fence with the card. I have him but don't really use him in a deck. I have a control warrior deck with him and out of 6 games with that deck I only drew him 2 times. And one of those I lost anyways lol
Holy crap, the heroics in the last wing of LoE are ridiculous. I've managed to beat the deck stealer by making the most useless warlock deck I could come up with, but the real battle is against that unstable portal hero power. I put Sir Finley in the deck, hoping he would use it, but in the twenty or so attempts, he never used it. Finally got lucky draws and barely beat him. The approach I took was getting his board filled with minions that had no attack power or aren't able to attack. Glad I'm done with that one, lol. Almost had the final battle with a freeze mage. I was one turn away from winning, even had all the cards I needed in my hand to win. I got his board cleared and was sitting at ten health. Just needed to survive that turn and it was over. Then he dropped the spell that deals 10 damage to random enemies (works just like the paladin spell, just more damage) and every single hit ignored my minions and went to me. Thanks, RNG. lol I haven't even thought about how I'm going to beat the first two yet.
Man, good for you, trying to earn it all with your own cookbook. It's enough of a challenge for me to pilot netdecks on this last wing. Finally got my card back though. Love that one! Rafaam Unleashed in heroic is a serious mofo. That is RN Jesus at his worst...a truly malevolent deity.
After 20+ games, finally found the golden monkey!!! Except I lost on the next turn.... FML Not sure that Elise Dragon card is worth it at this time. Anyone else have any experiences with it? Though I know only for a short time..
Got them all done now. Man, that final Rafaan battle took a million tries. Finally got lucky on draws (both mine and his) and was able to keep the board cleared with flame walkers, kel thuzad, animated armor, and some other minions. Luckily all my secrets were still buried, so I was able to suicide my mad scientist every turn to fish them all out since kel thuzad kept bringing him back. Those counterspells were extremely helpful.
League of Explorers is the greatest thing to happen to Hearthstone in a long, long time. I was a bit surprised to hear this Adventure launching so soon after TGT, but i'm so happy they pushed this out of the gates so soon. -RENO! Thank you sir, for bringing a wacky, crazy meta back into the mix. A great break from face hunters, MC paladins and the like. -DISCOVER! Blizzard more than made up for the underwhelming Joust and Inspire mechanics from The Grand Tournament. Dark Peddler and Museum Curator have both become staples in Warlock/Priest decks, and both provide mega value! -SHAMAN IS BACK! But not in the way I had hoped. Midrange Shaman was one of my favorite decks when I first started playing Hearthstone, but I soon understood why it suffered compared to other decks in the meta in terms of strength and the long game. I'm glad Shaman is back on the map, albeit its aggro variant. -MRGLGLGLLGL! MURLOCS... finally viable! The Anyfin Paladin is mucho fun and the deck holds its own in the midgame. -THE LEGENDARIES... Rafaam, Elise, Brann, Sir Finley! Rafaam techs in nicely for several decks as a late-game option, and his diversity in picking an artifact of choice hits the sweet spot often to secure the win. Elise... not convinced yet; even in decks like Renolock where I can tap every other turn and heal-up late game with Reno, i've never been able to draw Elise/the Map/the Monkey consistently to make much of a difference to the game. Brann and Sir Finley are both fantastic in certain decks... Brann shines in Malylock and Dragon Priest, amongst other decks and Finley does quite well for Shaman and other classes looking for a late-game switch up.
My mage is finally golden! Now I'm deciding which class to focus on next. I thought about actually trying a top tier deck and seeing if I could finally break into the single digit ranks. I played around with the new face shaman deck, and it's pretty nasty, but I feel dirty playing it, lol.
I'd go with Priest... it's the first class I got Golden and i'm glad I did! Priests are on top of this meta right now with the release of Museum Curator + Entomb
Thanks! Wow, nice! I think I'm going to stick with shaman. Seems like the best time for it, at least. I'm not really a fan of the face-smash play style, but it's pretty easy to pick up. Still learning it, but the thing that seems to wreck this deck the most is an opponent with a lot of taunt in their deck. The matchups so far have been lots of taunt = usually lose; midrange/combo/tempo = usually win; face/aggro = equal win/loss rate since it's whoever gets the best draws in the beginning. I hated the overload effect at first, but I'm starting to actually enjoy it now.
I've been playing Hearthstone since it was in open Beta, but only dabbled until it hit the iPad. On the iPad, I only really played enough to make sure I got the cardback each month. I started playing it much more once it got iPhone support, and I've been majorly addicted since the grand tournament cardset got added. League of explorers has made it even more enjoyable, as I've been having a lot of fun trying to make some wacky decks with some of the new mechanics. I've been trying to get better in ranked play lately, but I always hit a wall at rank 13. I've been rotating between SMOrc shaman, egg druid, and face hunter this month (yes, all netdecks; yes I'm ashamed; but dammit I'm trying to get better and I never play aggro/face decks so I didn't know how to build/play one). I've been getting better with these decks and have learned quite a lot from playing them (I mainly just played mage decks of my own creation up until recently, so actually playing WITH an aggro deck rather than just AGAINST one has been quite educational), but I still have quite a lot to learn because I'm hitting the wall at 13 and I find myself losing to opponents using the exact same deck as I am. I'm guessing I should start checking out some streams to get some better insight. Does anyone have any recommendations? I fired up twitch on my PS4 and see a bunch of different streamers, but haven't tried watching any yet. I guess Reynad is the most popular guy to watch? Are there any others that are highly recommended, or can I just trust the numbers on twitch to be an accurate indicator on who the top streamers are? Or does anyone have any tips/suggestions other than watching streams that would be helpful? Thanks!
