I'm kinda wonder why some didn't like sennheiser but maybe we have our own choices or preferences. I've been using it for more than a year and the brand looks nice and great in performance so I've no second thoughts or whatsoever.
Lol I do love that case =D. Idk I still wonder around with them on/ around my neck all the time in the street... Guess they are a bit chunky, but oh well !
Judging by the OP's post he'd just like a nice pair of sub-100$ in-ear headphones. I recommend the Klipsch Image S4i, sounds really awesome and it has Apple's clicky thing that I couldn't live without. And they cost 80$. Otherwise if you'd like a pair of serious headphones, you can't go wrong with the Sennheiser HD 280 pro's, love them to bits, and they only cost 5$ more. http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-280-Pro-Headphones/dp/B000065BPB
I've got this model, except the S4's without the clicky thing. Probably the best mid-range in-ear's that I've heard.
You're a fool if you think those headphones are worth the price you payed, especially when you can get a nicer pair of Denons, Sennheisers, Audio Techna, etc. for cheaper. And especially at your 'buy cheap, buy twice' motto, there are better built cans out there for less money.
I finally picked up beats from Best Buy to try them and I have to say I'm returning them...and picking up white ones from apple.com! They easily blow the competition out of the water and the design and build quality is amazing! Thanks for the help!
The new build of the Beats Solo is definitely outstanding, and for that alone I'd pay the overpriced price tag.
If you have the money, go to colorware and by the beats there designed. Those will get some heads turning. I'm contemplating.
Let it go man lol, people will like what they like. Regardless if Beats are overpriced for their sound, they happen to be popular. Keep in mind this is toucharcade, not headfi.org Can't expect everybody here to be an expert on whats the best for the price.
