Jesus Christ, those're expensive. I have no doubt they're worth it, but you have to be a major music-enthusiast to get one of these puppies.
Hi I just want a good pair of headphones next to my iPad 62GB 3G plus MacBook Pro i7 when it comes out Apple has a monopoly!!!!! on my wallet......
For use on portables, just make sure the impedance is low. Stick to cans with 18-35Ω (ohms) if possible. The higher they are, the more power they need to be driven so the lesser volume you'll get. Full-size and on-ear cans usually require more power than buds or IEMs. If you really, really want full-size high-impedence cans, you'll have to get yourself a portable amp like the Boostaroo or something similar. (Warning though, the Boostaroo requires 2 AAAA batteries -- yes, quadruple-A. They're not very common but easily ordered online, commonly referred to as penlight batteries.) However, even with a portable headphone amp you don't have a hope in hell of driving those HD 650s on an iPod (unless you chain two amps); those suckers are 300Ω -- 10x the impedance of the average set of buds or small on-ear cans. Big-ass neodymium magnets in those, could probably double as a handheld MRI machine in a pinch. If you're going to go with the Klipsch, go with the S4i. They have the inline remote you can use on the iPod and iPhone, which is much handier, and it's only a few bucks more.
Any decent headphones or earphones for rap? Preferably something between $20 to $40, and with a good bass sound.
Well anyone knows if the Bose QuietComfort 15 will be able to be iPhone/iPad friendly? Thanks for the tip Mindfield!
Lol, rap.. Anyways, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.html/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/191-8779560-4093024?a=B001RB24SW Best bang for your buck, they're reaaaallllyyyy comfortable and sound pretty good with lots of bass. They have a lower-end model if this is a bit too expensive for you.
Haha, by "preferably $20-$40" I meant "it has to be $20-$40." I'm too poor to afford anything higher than that.
Haha, I love it when headphone companies slap an "i" to the end of the name to stand for improved. I love my Grado SR-225i lol.
Lol rap, anways I have these bose speakers which vibrate my table with bass when I turn the bass all the way up.
Lol, I don't know anything decent in that pricerange that is much better than stock Apple buds.. Skullcandy perhaps? They have decent quality products manufactured for the masses and are known for their looks over sound.. But I'm sure you're already familiar with them haha.
Rap is good... old school rap, that is. All this new shit is so auto-tuned and redundant it's not even funny.
Haha, I've never really tried Skullcandies before... my friends like them but I've always stuck with my trusty stock Apple buds. That is, until now, because I find even at the highest volume setting in a loud and crowded area isn't high enough to compensate for all the background noise.
Lol rap, anyways I actually like some of eminem's songs. The anger and/or sarcasm is really awesome. Especially "lose yourself"
An iPod is more than enough to drive Ink'd buds.. I found they got much louder than my Heshes, which were on-ear as opposed to IEM. Now I don't touch headphones that cost under $150...
Hope this won't turn into a double post and that someone will post before this haha.. Yeah, Eminem is the only rapper that I enjoy - songs like Without Me always put me in a good mood.
Yeah all the other rappers rap about growing up in the 'hood' or some fat sweaty fat chick. Anyways, HAHAHAH DOUBLE POST AHAHAHA YOU DOUBLE POSTED AHAHAHAHA GET OWNED SON HAHAH DOUBLE POSTER AHHAHA NOOOB HAHAHA NOOB POSTER HAHAHA
