WOW that's terrible. It proves that not all is flowers and smiles in the appstore I've been checking some videos and reviews and it looks like a good and innovative game. I might be checking it to support the dev but not now, later when I have some more money
Zen Bound - I bought it based on the reviews and praise that it received from iPhone gaming websites. In the end, I thought that it was too repetitive.
My regret was buying Hooked. I couldn't wait for a fishing game and it seemed interesting at the time. Especially with the developer saying they intended to update the game with new features in the future and that has yet to happen... Fortunately Flick Fishing came along to replace my disappointment.
Regrets: 1. Hero of Sparta (running around and pressing buttons= not fun, running and he jumps for you sucks... pressing the buttons) Alien Abuse is the same but more worth it than this. 2. Dr. Awesome (was addicted but after not playing for a while and coming back with dead patients stunk! Got too repetitive...) 3. Billy Frontier (don't know what to say about it but I wasn't into it) 4. Strategic Assault (wasn't into it... not even that great, just plain)
Light riders for sure, and zen bound also. i bought into the hype of zen bound and made a purchase on impulse. havent touched it since the day it came out
The thing I most regret is buying early apps and not waiting until this year. There are SO many good games out this year (as well as coming out this year) that I feel sometimes like I wasted money on the early stuff that I could've been spending on these new games. This is my only regret otherwise. I enjoy the newest games way better than any games I bought last year. Maybe it's just hindsight being 20/20.
Ferrari GT. I bought it thinking that it would be better than Asphalt 4. Sure the graphics were better, but the gameplay was terrible. Also, it doesn't have online multiplayer like Asphalt 4 does.
THTouch : Polished game but severly lacking multiplayer Collapse : Not very challenging as the mobile version, it was more of an impulse buy but the 0.99 cents price forgives the shortcomings I guess. Blue Attack: Was a bit hesitant to get it, but I liked Blue Defense a lot so eventually bought it though was disappointed with the gameplay. Pocket God : Severly lacking even for short bursts of gaming.
Bought Slope Riders (or something like that) and regretted it almost immediately. Not a very good app, at all.
Wow a lot of blue attack and defense haters. U can all die =P I forgot about dr. Awesome and vector tanks. BIG MISTAKES
Rolando for me, while it seems to be a great game I just can't get into it. Overall I regret buying most games with tilt controls i just don't like them much. Of course there are also a few 99 cent games I regret buying but to be honest i should know better anyway.
Lol, I have purchased tombs of apps that I regret land more that 75% have Been because of price drops after I buy them
I have to say Ancient Frog. Bought on the back of major hype, with talk of stunning animation and gameplay... Game sucked! I hated it! Word Scramble: Love this type of game, but the game offers up some seriously ridiculous words, I have never heard of, and my level of intelligence isn't that bad! UniWars in danger of heading that way... again hype and offering itself up as a "Advanced Wars" style game, but so far feeling really basic and is nowhere near as slick or as fun as Advanced Wars, which is a classic!
I am also in line with Dudeman, most games I do regret buying are motion-based action type games, except Glyder up to date. But Glyder is not a classic action game, so it will pass I guess. But the biggest regret I have had was the adventure game '1112'. Any proud owners of this game will think that it is a great adv. game and it is, actually. But after trying the Lite version, I went out and bought the full version. It was over in a couple of hours and this fact happened to be a huge frustration for me. I am aware it is an episodic game but a couple of hours are just too short of what I am expecting from a good adventure game.
aye. regretted loads. couldn't give a stuff for the price, but more pi55ed off about the lack of any good product for it usually. i expect at least to be entertained for 10 mins for my $ worth. i regret... mission22 joyride powerboat spacex billy frontier enigmo summit (and a few others) and i feel obliged to keep them on my ipod, clogging space up. i also regret jumping straight in sometimes where if i wait a week or 3 the lite is released.
No i don't. If i pick up at game for a buck or 5 bucks if it kepts me busy for 1 to 2 hours then i am happy. Sure i would like more game play but in todays world where going to see a movie will run me a good 20bucks for 2 hours i dont think a iphone going to upset me that much where i regrette buying it .
