think like a shrink, circuit strike one, tap star, uniwar, mecho wars, hero defense, proto, sparta...ongoing
I have to admit that both mecha wars and uniwar are on my 'about to be deleted list' as well. Played a few campains on each, but I never go back to them now. And I have no interest in multiplayer uniwar, which is probably the only reason to buy that game. I"m also about to delete 'word fu'. These high score games are the worst. Once you do well, or get lucky, you never beat that high score, and the game can be deleted. I'm thankful that so many of the games I hated had lite versions, like 'zen bound', 'Dr. Nano', and at least 20 others I can't even remember now. But for 'free' games, my biggest regret now is 'Kingdoms live'. Wasted way too much time on that and after hitting level 43, I began to see that it was going nowhere. Oh look. Another level, another weapon to buy to keep up to everyone else. I guess I'll spend the next week outfitting my army of 33 with that weapon. Zzzzzzzz.....
In defense of T.A.N.K. Arena Battle Sorry to hear you did not like my game. And I am sure not everyone does. But to be fair, it looks like you never made it past the "training" level. There are multiple enemies and fast tanks and you need to learn how to drive fast, as this video shows: You can earn points by shooting enemies, or by avoiding them and getting to a GOAL line...
Chronicles of Inotia and Defender Chronicles of Inotia truly sucked in almost every possible department, from gameplay, story, character development and graphics -- and I made the mistake of buying it without trying out the free version. I read about people who got to level 50 and made it to the end. I cringe to wonder how boring their real lives must be if they had to spend so much time role-playing a 'hero' in such a limited and pathetic RPG... Granted that I never liked TD games, billing Defender Chronicles as an RPG made me curious and led me to waste $2.99 on this. I guess I'll never understand why there is so much acclaim for this game in the reviews. The gameplay, 2D graphics design and animation on the first level totally put me off. Maybe just not my cup of tea, but I'd rather play Samurai WOTW which I also bought on the same day for the same price.
Mobile guns, and topple i bought it when it was a dollar and a couple days later it went free cause topple 2 came out
Update: I recently went through my list of apps and the ones i now regret buying are: Harbor Master: i was under the impression that we were going to get more than 5 maps for updates...i was extremely dissapointed in the content of this because of the promise the dev made Fantastic Contraption: i loved the online one, but something about the ipod one just made me not want to back icopter: just like the classic one online, but i cant help to think i wasted a buck because i dont play it anymore and because i have a pretty good highscore, there is basically no chance of me beating it, so now i dont play it anymore 3-D vector ball: i bought it for the wifi multiplayer but it lags a lot when playing with my friends. pocket god: i only play the update for like 2 min after it comes out, then i wait for the next one. There is only so much you can do without a storyline.
Hypothetical Regret.. Had I bought Luxor it`d have been the first ever app I regret purchasing after today`s incident
So many I cant even count... Titanic Rescue is the latest one, i thought it looked hilarious, but it is waay too hard... Pocket God was fun for awhile... Id say the ones that I dont regret but got sick of pretty fast: Crash kart Pocket God WATCHMEN SUCKED wtf was that? The rest are blanked from my memory
Pretty much every app I bought I regretted. When I first got my Touch, I was very excited about the app store, and frequented this site and the likes of slidetoplay to find any new and decent looking games that were coming out. Since then I have cooled towards it, and pretty much don't even care about the app store anymore. I still havemy eyes on GTA and Song Summoner, but everything else is just bleh.
I regret buying Must eat birds, Mevo and the Grooveriders, and Mouthoff. Its not that Mevo or Must eat birds are bad games, I just don't like them. Mouthoff was an accident, I coulda swore it said free as the price. Oh well.
