Metal Gear Solid Touch and Zen Bound. Zen Bound based on the reviews. Repetitive. MGST was an impulse buy and complete trash. Then of course later the lite version comes out.
Spore is a big regret for me. So much so I won't touch anything EA brings out anymore. I feel some of those big companies miss what the iPhone truely represents as a gaming console. Another more recent one was pocket gods, I was under the impression it was a game. I guess I should of done more research, and that's just really my own dumb fault.
pocket god has become more of a game then ever now with the past few updates.....i would suggest going back to Pocket God and trying it out again....you might be surprised how its changed drastically with the past few updates
Sing Along ($3.99) Bought this for my wife/kid based on how useful the free version was, only benefit from the paid version was the addition of music, which is bad/inconsistent/quiet MIDI sounding garbage. It's as if the author just grabbed random MIDI files off of the web and stuffed them in there. Ugh. I do still use it for lyrics to kids music, but the free version did that just as well. Escape: The Room ($0.99) I should have contested this one with iTunes - the game page said Free when I was on it, gave me a "product is being updated, cannot complete your request" the first time I clicked on it, then got charged a buck. As much as I like escape games, this one is awful, there is only one real puzzle, and you can get through the game in 30 clicks/swipes, including the title screen and clicking OK to close dialog boxes... Runner Up: Neonscape ($3.99) Clicked the wrong button and bought the full game instead of getting the free version. Is a runner up as I actually like the game, just felt is wasn't worth the four dollars. Of course the game has dropped to a buck now Lots of games I've bought have dropped in price, but so far I think I'm still ahead as I've managed to snag games free/cheap by watching the price drop lists here at TA and at 148apps. (And big thanks to devs here posting promo codes!)
Rolando - i found it really irritating to play this game. REALLY irritating. Super Monkey Ball - see above Terminator - I felt like i simply watched a really bad cgi (short)movie.
i now regret buying all the gameloft racing apps like asphalt 4 and ferrari gt evolution because they were only fun for a couple days and now they are deleted
Numbrix I hate the execution of this game it smells of laziness. The game play might have been OK if the app functioned properly. Two things really make me angry about this App it was reviewed so highly and was front and centre on ITunes New and Noteworthy forever. Did they have a different version of the game? The app stole my expectations and my money. Message to the Developer. This app has been out forever now hire someone to do a complete rebuild. (from scratch)
that is the coolest name i have seen on these forums...........perhaps gaving us an explanation??????? http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=20456&highlight=choose+username
Surprisingly, i found that i regretted inkvaders and knights onrush. I am really just a casual gamer on my ipod and i found that inkvaders was too challenging for me. also once i had done one really long try at endurance mode and had got the really good weapons it was annoying to have to go back to using the sucky weapons. Knights onrush is just incredibly repetative and doesnt really seem to have much replay value for me, although it is highly polished and i know i should love it, for some reason i don't.
iave just recently started purchasing apps and some apps that i already regret buying are: Asphalt 4, vector ball, stickwars, crazy snowboard, LIGHT BIKE, and pocket god... I am more of a pick up and play type of gamer, the only game out of that zone that i bought was gang$tar, and i was very happy with that... I do tend to like the games like parachute panic and minigore, where i can have a quick 5 minute game...
Orbital. I bought it as it dropped to 0.99 to see what all the hype was about. "curiocity killed a cat" - apart from the nice particle effects this game did not appeal to me. Diamond breaker - crappy version of flash game "ice breaker". Asphalt 4.
I regret Rope'n'Fly, so complicated, phsics weren't good. (And BTW, can you vote in the poll in my sig? Thanks!!) And I regret Cro_Mag, weird steering
Knights onrush, Chocolatier, Speed quest, circuit strike one, lion pride, must eat birds, pocket god, slotz racers, worms, tank arena battle. irelax melodies Knights - boring after five minutes. Nothing but screen mashing. Being frustrated is not my idea of fun. Choco - Searching for chocolate recipes? How exciting...not. This is geared towards women...fat women. Speed quest - Good for five minutes, then boring. Deleted. Circuit strike one - Bought on hype. Hated the controls. You die...a lot. Much too difficult for casual players. Lion pride - After 'draw race' this draw game really pales. Bought on hype. Played ten minutes. . Must eat birds - Some review sites gave this 4 stars. Absurd. It's not even fun for five minutes. Pocket god - Not even a game. Doesn't matter how many episodes they add, it's still not a game. I went through each of them once, was thoroughly unimpressed, and deleted it. Slotz racers - Duplicates playing slot cars as kid? Lame. If you're going to 'fantasy' race, is this what you fantasize about? Worms - Bought on hype before review. I hate this game with a passion after playing star hogs. Terrible controls, guess work for shooting. Who cares? TAnk arena battle - The epitome of pointless. Two very slow tanks face off in a large room Oooo! Bounce shots off the walls until one goes boom. I feel really stupid for buying this. I relax melodies - Initially seemed good. But after buying 'Ambiance' which has a boatload of sounds you can download, and even mix with your own music, it now pales in comparison.
