Galaxy on Fire. Fantastic game but the price dropped by half literally 2 hours after I bought it for the full price.
Yes, I have. I bought Paper Pilot. That game wasn't bad, but I just didn't touch it ever since. Also, I regret getting Stick Wars. I should have just waited for the legit Defend your Castle.
- bugdom 2, play it once and never touch it... too childish - pirate wings, shitty control and crash my iphone - MGS touch, not too bad just not worth for the 8 bucks.
Using iStat as a fast freer of memory works for me. A restart takes quite a while for me. Anyway, the only apps I kind of regret purchasing are: 7Cities - nothing wrong with it, it's just too deep for what I want on my phone. I never want to get into it. Dropship - just never played it. SlotZ Racer - I didn't really 'get' it, until the last time I played - it's actually pretty good, but not that engaging. WordsWorth - it's good, but I don't 'feel' the score enough to want to beat m old scores - feels more like chance than skill.
All the time, every day of my life, I look at these unused apps on my touch and ask... Why? Why? Why are apps and life, so, so ephemereal? They vanish like dust in the wind, they vanish like that one 99 cent app you bought cuz you were bored and now are being foreclosed and hobo-tized and it makes you wonder... I could really use that dollar now...
I know exactly how you mean. My iPhone has turned me into an App Addict. I have so many apps on my iPhone that I wished I hadn't purchased. Almost all the ones still there are good and fun, but I don't play them all. THERE ARE TOO MANY!!! I try to spend time on all of them, but it just doesn't happen, and I buy more all the time. Oh well... Next week, I'm setting a purchase limit for myself, so I don't go bankrupt, lol.
So far, out of all the apps I've downloaded, I've only regretted two: Payback and iGirl. iGirl was just a whimsical purchase for 0.99, so I don't regret it that much, but Payback was a severe disappointment.
redbull air races LITE - that was a massive disappointment. certainly wont be buying the full version. (and i love flght apps)
O MY GOD i have the same problem! Its an addiction, I swear. I buy an app, play it for ten minutes and move on, my hunger never satisfied... I feverishly wait for itunes money and go through gift cards like crack cocaine. Its really a nightmare... I just CANT STOP!!!
Same here. I have to hide them from myself. Only purchases I've regretted were Hysteria Project and Car Jack Streets. Hysteria Project was beaten in less than 20 minutes and Car Jack Streets just had a pricedrop
CJS is still a good game. Just because it had a price drop doesnt mean you should base your dislike of it off of that.
Hysteria Project was totally horrible, sure it's exciting at first after that it's just a movie and a 50/50 chance of dying, just restart if you die. And they keep showing the mysterious figure chasing you but that gets old really fast.
+1 Watchmen was horrible!! Even after 2 or 3 updates, it's still unplayable...I had my hopes, especially when seeing the developers in the forums. But I guess that meant nothing. Have never had more than 3 consecutive minutes in game before a crash. Honorable mentions to: Urban Tycoon, Cro-Mag, and Vay.
Well, glad to see that it's still broken. Well, not glad really but not suprised. There have been 2 different developers on this forum regarding this game if I'm not mistaken, always with promises and nothing has been delivered. It has meant nothing as you've said... I've given up hope and just take every opportunity to call them out on it. It's become a joke to me but at the same time, a great learning experience. I will not be conned into buying a game based on potential and future updates. Not a chance.
I should have learned my lesson with Urban Tycoon, truly. *sigh* I can say that I have little trust in developers now. Grr. They ruined it for all of you!
Hm... CarJack Streets, Katamari (I love the series, the iPhone series just kinda... lags), Chronicles of Inotia. I think thats about it for now.
Pretty disappointed in my Zooloretto purchase last night. Of course if I had waited until this morning the game wouldn't have been on the app store anymore. Sigh.
Omar Sharif Bridge - missing some very basic features. Outside of that, just games that took big price drops after I got them - Super Monkey Ball, Enigmo, Cro-Mag Rally.
