I was just reading the other day that Pocket God has had 2 million downloads - making it the first game to reach that milestone.

    Yes!

Doodle Jump must be by now... It had 80,000 d/w on just Xmas day!

And the guy that made Trism aswell I think. Well, he made enough to quit his job.

Tapolous, producer of Tap Tap series earns more than million a month.
    That is impressive.
But they do not come from Indie, though.

does Firemint count? I remember a while ago, months back, Flight control passed the million sale mark.
also what about Rolando. I know it's published by ngmoco but what about the guy who created the game

Definitely Bolt Creative [Pocket God] I believe they passed the 2 million copies sold mark, so a buck a copy that $2M..Not including DLC

[And then there's Apple's/OF's cut, but still]

nope. if they're planning to submit flight control onto dsiware, they can't be indie devs

I'm sure Illusion Labs has made over a million in combined downloads. Of course, there's Apple's cut, development costs, and splitting of profits, so probably none of them have a million for themselves, but that's not to say they're not living incredibly comfortably.

Bolt Creative is planning to port Pocket God to other consoles, so that means nothing.
